Keep getting Facebook password reset texts?

I don't know if this is scam or if someone is trying to get into my Facebook account? I keep getting texts that my new Facebook password is " ".

One of the numbers it is coming from is 289-432-1391.

" " is your new Facebook password reset code or reset your password here: "link" Std data rates may apply.

It could be some old guy (or other computer illiterate person) having an email address close to yours mistakenly using your email and frustrated why he can't log in and hence the multiple password resets.

I haven't. But this keeps happening for a few years now. Not sure if it's just spam or a jilted ex LOL.

Could be real, the best way is to read the link url to see if its actually facebook's owned. Don't click on it.

Why don't you try hitting forgot password and see if it sends you the exact same text. From the same number etc technically FB sends from a short 6digit number no 289
