Kenwood Chef Stand Mixer - $359.99

Deal Link:
My wife's been asking for a stand mixer and at first I thought KitchenAid, of course, but after some research found out that Kenwood stands up very well and is preferred by many. I won't go into detail on the pros and cons between the two brands. Benefits of note are that it comes with 3 attachments out-of-the-box (k-beater, power whisk, dough hook) and that it has a 750W motor.

There are two sizes of the Kenwood, the Chef (5 qt) and the Major (7qt) . The Major is available at Costco for $499.99 which seems like a great price (and warranty) if you need that big of a machine (800W motor). For us, we're not doing huge batches, so the Chef seems like a better choice (also to fit in our kitchen cabinets). The Chef is usually available at $399.99 at cookstore.ca, but apparently ordering from there is generally a bad idea. It's not currently available on Amazon, but the cheapest it's ever been there is $349.99 and only briefly (typically around $500).

Instead you can buy directly from Kenwood, currently on sale for $399.99 and use coupon WELCOME10 for 10% off, bringing the price to $359.99 with free shipping. Seems like a warm-to-hot deal at least for a good appliance.

Can vouch for the brand. My mum still uses a Kenwood that is 20 years old

My Kenwood still works well after 6 years, however its attachments are very hard to find. I have the blender, food processor and steamer in the original set but those are no where to be found @ online or in-store in Canada.
Save a lot but end up spending more

I had an issue with the glass blender blade that could have been due to misuse, called it in and got replacement part shipped to home in a week's time.
Had ours for 5 years now use it 3-4 times a week.

I highly recommend this.
