New York City (JFK) to Nairobi (NBO) USD 242 or Joburg (JNB) USD 348 roundtrip Error Fare Jan-Oct 2019

Deal Link:
Price:
242
Retailer:
Kenya Airways
Saw this on Secret Flying originally as NBO-JFK roundtrip... now seems to work both ways for USD 242.

Error fare rules apply. If deal is honoured, I'd then look for a cheap connection from CAD city to JFK... Good luck.

Update: some dates also available for JFK to Joburg (JNB) for USD 348. Connecting thru Nairobi obviously.

Almost 10 hours bus trip each way, thanks but no thanks. The toilet must wreak past Albany...

Greyhound does it for $200, GoToBus for around $160; might as well fly.

They clean the bus in Albany...

It's really not bad. Also, it's 70$ by bus or train each way. The Mtl/NYC Amtrak train as one of the best views in North American.

I've done The Adirondak. It's very slow almost 11 hours depending on the border crossing and the freight trains on the same tracks that get priority. And it's $70... USD each way, so $185 CAD, might as well fly and get it over with. If you're into views, the one from above ain't bad either.

MegaBus doesn't seem to do Montreal-NYC

Checked all the dates on SF... prices are creeping back up, would've been sweet to grab one at $250 usd.

Kenya has reserves where you can watch birds and large mammals. *

For people Holding Canadian passports Kenya requires that you apply for a transit online.

Looks like this was the intended promotion but they somehow botched it. Original deal appears to be dead.

Kilimanjaro is not in Kenya. Its in Tanzania. So those going to Kenya to climb Kilimanjaro will have to get Tanzania Visa and then either fly or drive to Kilimanjaro. Also, for Canadians you will need Visa to enter Kenya.

YUL-NYC R/T is at least $250 CAD, kind of kills the deal.

Plus, would you trust your life to Kenya Airways?
what is that supposed to mean, trust your life?
