Keurig K-Supreme Plus (Smart) - Failure Rates?

Does anyone have any decent info on the reliability of these newer models? I'm currently using an old B60 that I've had for somewhere around 10 years. It's still going strong but it's quite loud when it pulls water so I was considering a new machine that will run quieter.

I discovered the new Smart model but, when looking online, I'm seeing MANY of the Plus and Plus Smart models failing due to a couple different error codes. I'm seeing people on their 3rd or 4th replacement and I'm just wondering if anyone has any input as I know a lot of people only post their issues online and not praise for their working machine.

Thanks!

I've had the K Supreme Plus since 4 months and have had zero issues and really like this machine. We use it everyday.

Boom and Bust Calgar…
The main problem is there's a thermostat that can trip thus rendering the unit useless. You can reset it but it involves taking apart the machine.

The mostly likely way you're going to trip it is when you're using the descale mode. It requires multiple rounds of heating water, and it generates a lot of heat.

Use only soft water if you can.

Thanks for this info. Doesn't make me too confident on these newer models though, considering how hard they push you to descale now with that flashing light.
