$10USD shipping via USPS (3-6 business days). Not bad for a backup pair.

"The included standard polycarbonate lens is available for prescriptions that fall within the following ranges:

SPH (0.00 to +4.00) and CYL (0.00 to -2.00)
SPH (0.00 to -4.00) and CYL (0.00 to -3.00)
For prescriptions outside of these ranges you will need to upgrade to a higher index lens at an additional cost. "

Can't beat free, even if there is a nominal shipping charge. Thanks OP.

I got a pair last time the deal was posted and am very satisfied for the price. I did spring for all the extra coatings (an extra $20 USD) and these are the glasses I wear every day now. There’s a tiny amount of chromatic aberration if I look sideways, which I never do except to test the glasses so I don’t mind. They arrived about a week after ordering. Cost me $45 CAD ($30 USD) with all the optional coatings and shipping.

I'd be worried about duties and border fees depending on who ships it. Seems like shipping companies write their own rules when it comes to importing goods from the States.

Got free* pairs from this company twice, first time when some posted the deal here just to try it out($14 who cares) glasses were decent quality like Ray-bans etc, second time to get some sun glasses when they had the deal again about a month or so ago for $35 total.

Or maybe Customs is just loosely and arbitrarily enforced due to sheer volume.

Prescription glasses are not taxed and exempt from duties, so even if it shipped from the States, you shouldn't have to pay any taxes and fees. Non-prescription sunglasses may be charged.
But my RX glasses were shipped from Richmond, BC, by Canada Post Priority when I ordered early May.

From their shipping page for Canadian orders:
https://www.kits.com/shipping.html
All orders are shipped from Ontario or British Columbia Warehouse.

I got these with the free pair promo a few weeks ago and they did indeed ship from BC. My glasses were a little bit too tight on my temples, so I contacted customer service, they gave me a return label to print out and ship back. Today they got my return package and they're sending out a different style which I called in to request an exchange. Didn't have to pay extra for any of this. Their customer service is really great, a few of my friends got them too and were happy with the glasses. For less than $15, it's great for a backup or change up your style.

I got mine when they had this sale last time. Quality is ok, can't expect more for $10 USD. Mine was shipped from Vancouver not from US. Even if they ship from US you don't need to pay customs.

These people have great service! Had a minor issue with my glasses (from the last time this deal was posted) so I emailed them. They sent me a prepaid return label and re-shipped my fixed glasses at no cost.

I just ordered another pair, with all the coatings (again) - it's worth it and it's not so much extra.

Thanks, OP! Smiling Face With Sunglasses🤩

Last time my glasses were shipped from BC, I wouldn't worry about the duty. Canada Post literally threw my package at my door and left...

Got a free pair last time.
My prescription was a bit extreme, I didn't know. KITS upgraded my lens to the thin high index lenses no charge.
Lens quality and frames are what I'd expect.

My last pair at my optometrist was $500+, shrugs. The lens scratched after 6 months and my optometrist said "I don't even see anything major, maybe a tiny tiny hairline."
Not sure if I would pay that much again at my optometrist.

As for KITS, my pair shipped from BC. Arrived in 2 days.
Cannot complain about their customer service.

This site is legit - I took advantage of this same offer last time. Frames are great quality, prescription was on-point, and it shipped quickly from BC.
