Kobo ereader sale?
I’m looking to get the Kobo Libra e reader on sale. Does anyone recall if they go on sale at Chapters Indigo on Black Friday?

Staples coupons are another option. I almost pulled the trigger on the Clara the last time there was a $25 off Staples coupon going around.Foreza wrote: ↑ I've honestly tried looking before, but it seems extremely rare to ever find any of the newer Kobo eReaders on sale...
Your best bet may be to find a way to get coupons or discounted gift cards for Best Buy, the Source, Chapters, etc. and see if you can use that. Though, I'd be careful with some gift cards from Chapters or Kobo - they explicitly disallow you from buying eReaders.
With some luck, maybe someone else will be able to let us in on a deal - I'm looking to purchase one myself!

Good call. I just purchased a white Kobo Libra H20 using the following $25 off $75 code here (staples-staples-10-off-coupon-galaxy-ta ... #p31689493) at Staples.toekneehand wrote: ↑ Staples coupons are another option. There might be sales, though. I think they were on sale in March/April and haven't been since, so stores may want to move some inventory.

The Kobo Libra I bought last night using the Staples code (65957) was $197.74 after tax using the Staples code - any Kobo with Comfortlight Pro (i.e. Libra, Forma, and Clara) will shift to warmer light in the night!ApocDeals wrote: ↑ I’m still trying to do some research on which Kobo is best for nighttime reading and at a price point around $200.
I had considered the Kindle Paperwhite, but it seems Kobo readers have better support for the OverDrive app/module that our library uses (and so far I don’t know of any e-ink readers that support the other one, Libby).
I’ll be keeping my eye out on this thread, thanks!

Your post made me very interested in the Kobo Libra. I tried using the $25 off coupon, but it doesn't seem to work with the Kobo now.Foreza wrote: ↑ Good call. I'd prefer a black one, but I'll gladly hang onto this one and try again once the black ones come back in stock.

Unfortunately, the code only worked with the white Libra - that, or the code may have expired. I've heard that sometimes you need to try different emails for it to somehow suddenly work.dieselboy27 wrote: ↑ Your post made me very interested in the Kobo Libra. I just tried with the white model and the $25 off worked. Now I just need to decide if white is for me.Foreza wrote: ↑ Unfortunately, the code only worked with the white Libra - that, or the code may have expired. I'd recommend keeping an eye on the Staples coupon megathread (staples-coupons-megathread-389024/)
You may have some luck that way.
