Some phones are just $10 Tab rite now so basically $0 for 1 year as I have no tab currently and I will have a phone free for 1 year and rest will be discount rate.

I used to get it all the time, nothing the last year or so. With that said it was never anything as good as the OP's.

I got the same txt - I did put a few phones in my basket but under all tabs it said my plan doesn't qualify ($40 port from Public Mobile).

Just call them. They hand out these credits to pretty much everyone. It's all about locking you in to a contract.

I’m surprised they are still offering discounts for current customers.
They’ve been calling me and really pushy trying to move me over to Telus in the last few weeks. I believe there is a thread already on it.

I think I've only received like 2-3 text message offers in the past 2 years from them. I guess they only really offer "promotions" for people on more expensive plans. Their phones are grossly overpriced. Take for example, the pixel 4a, $540 outright if you purchase it or $480 on the tab small. You can buy the phone outright from google for $479. $820 for the iPhone XR on the tab small. This must be a joke! Why would anyone lock themselves into an overpriced 2 year plan just for the privilege of being with Koodo?

Waiting for other carriers to respond to Freedom's $60 20GB + free iPhone 11 promo. At the very least I think there's going to be good deals for Black Friday.
