Koodo 10gb for $60 a month with S9/Iphone 8 on Medium Tab + $150 Gift Card--YMMV ONTARIO

Deal Link:
Here's what happened:

I signed up with Koodo for the S9 deal like everyone else is doing, but before cancelling I decided on a whim to ask for the 10gb plan and actually got it. The associate was great and had it done in less than 5 minutes, no manager needed.

I have to check my bill when I get it, but I think they even removed the tab charge, leaving it at only 60+tax in total!! Will update asap.

If you're in the same boat, it can't hurt to ask. They 100% have it in their system and retentions has the power to just give it out to anyone, so keep trying until you get the right associate. Good luck everyone!

Updates:
-This was in Ontario
-Looks like it comes with the 1000 free LD minutes too.
-Make sure you are talking to retentions, regular sales associates may not see the plan available. I scheduled a callback with the message "I'd like to match a plan I was offered, or cancel my services if that's not possible" and my callback was from retentions.

Seems like they put the tab charge balance to your next invoice. Your plan is now $60 BYOD

Actually I got this plan yesterday as well. When I did HUP with QC plan, they told me to they can switch me to 10GB $60, so I decided why not

I got offered the 60/10gb plan but I turned it down, don't need more than 4gb per month and it would cost me an extra $100+ per year for data I wouldn't use

Is it possible to upgrade to this plan if you switch to Koodo with the TMS iPhone promo first? Or are you better off to go straight to Koodo?

When I go to Koodo self-serve the 10GB plan is $75! For $60 it only shows 6GB.

I called retentions and tried to get $40/5gb however they offered me 60/10gb, no way I needed 10gb though

During the Black Friday Walmart sales, Koodo offered me , through the store associate the $60/10GB plan when I upgraded to a iPhone 8. I was on a Quebec $55/8 GB plan, but got a free 2GB addon with the intention of taking the $60/6GB plan in order to upgrade.

The Koodo version was always Tab Medium eligible, even when it was obtained during that Boxing Day. Could always order online.

When I check online it’s $150 for tab medium and no gift card. Am I missing something here? I wouldn’t mind switching off of my BYOD $60/10gb plan for this but I’d ideally like to keep my plan and not have to go instore since I have small kids with me

In-store only for $0 down S9/i8 on a medium tab. They are Wow Mobile, Best Buy, Walmart, and The Mobile Shop promos.

I was just saying back then when people said the plan was BYOD (which was indeed the case for the other carriers), Koodo allowed tabs on their website and you can keep this plan. I wasn't saying online for this deal.

I called Koodo. We struggled to understand each others english for a few minutes, I asked where she lives and she said El Salvador. I asked to talk to cancellations, they asked me why I wanted to cancel, explained it, was put on hold for 10 minutes, finally I was told the 10GB $60 deal is not available. I have no tab on the account either.

Loyalty was able to give this plan to basically all my family members that called in and asked for it over the last few months
A lot of people's accounts are also getting the plan as a targeted offer if they upgrade. 10GB for $60 or 4GB for $45 is what I see often

Does loyalty have their own department or is it the retentions department that also deals with loyalty?
