I got the text and currently have the $40/6GB plan. Will probably upgrade the data since it seems like I don’t get the text offers very frequently anymore. I haven’t used any data this month so far since I’m at home on Wifi. My normal usage is around 50% around 3GB.

Nevermind, I just received the text right now.

If I accept this add on will it still be valid if I ever decide to switch plans?

Normally I would get this because the cottage months May-Oct I rely heavily on mobile internet connections. But with this virus I am not sure if I will be doing that much. They'll have to up their offer to get my to snap it up!

Got this promo finally. To summarize what all the threads in the past have said about this, there is a chance that you will lose the ability to use the data add-on if you change your plan. So to mitigate this, you want to change the plan first and then reply to the text offer:
1) Call Koodo to downgrade your plan or do it through Self Serve. It has to be one with Pay-Per-Use Data or else the add-on won't work.
2) Wait 20 minutes and then reply to the text offer to add your 4GB/$10 or 10GB/$15.

Pictures attached of my offer and rate plan. I got loyalty to add a $30 unlimited Canada-wide talk and text plan with Pay-Per-Use data. Then proceeded to reply to the text for the additional 10GB/$15 and I end up with $45/10GB data and unlimited talk and text. Good luck!

Will this work if I still have a tab balance? Koodo's recent tab changes have not been very nice...

I didn't have a tab on my account. From past threads, you have to pay off your tab balance to be able to take advantage of this. Don't take my word for this - I would double check it.

what is loyalty offering these days? Would I be able to downgrade to a $40/6gb plan through loyalty and then accept this offer?

Im currently on the $60 for 10 gb data plan paying monthly would this work if I get this offer? I would be sad to get stuck with something worse then I have right now.

There is $35
Unlimited Canada-wide anytime minutes
Unlimited messaging (text & picture)3
Call Display, Voicemail, Call Waiting and Conference Calling

( if you can't get the $30 one from Koodo Loyalty)

So $35+ $15= $50 /10GB save $10/month

Edit: You need to reply to the txt to add data 1st, before you change the plan

First time I've gotten a decent text from koodo, I usually get horrible offers, might try to capitalize on this one. @Sanforized I'm not seeing the $30 plan on koodos website, you had to call in for it correct? Did you specifically ask for that plan? I'm looking to get the same plan as I'm currently on the Quebec $56/10gb plan and would love to save some money. Also is that plan tab eligible?

I was offered this last November but did not take it, recently I was in California for 3 months and I not use my phone or any data. I was hoping to get offered this again but no joy.

I'm in Ontario, looking to get the $30 plan. Ontario number, just did the old switcharoo a while ago for the Quebec plan. Online will only show Ontario plans because of my Ontario phone number
