Does anyone know if the $15 credit for 12 months (aka the $180 credit) is before or after taxes? Below is assuming I get a new phone on a Tab medium.

As in my monthly bill is $35 + $15 Tab medium charge -$15 credit, so essentially $35 + 13% HST = $39.55 per month.

Or is it $35 + $15 Tab medium charge, so $50 + 13% HST - $15 = $41.50 per month.

Thanks!
Second calculation is correct, its after tax.

So an update to my earlier issues with the 8gb $45 plan (I ordered and received the SIM but the plan was changed in self-service to a $55 4gb plan):

I just called to cancel the original order and was transferred to retentions. The CSR told me that I "needed to port my public mobile number into Koodo for the promo plan to show up" which sounds ridiculous. Luckily I had moved my existing Koodo number over to PM in preparation for taking advantage of the deal, and said "well if you can switch the plan over I'll port this number in right now.:"

She did, and gave me the 8gb $40 plan instead of the $45 one. So for anyone who might have run into this issue with the promo not showing up on their account, talking to retentions when you cancel might do the trick.

I didn't get the credits but will try and see if they can add them.

1. Yes. 2. Better in store. I walked out of Walmart with a iPhone 6 and $375 gift card, which will not get online. I also got $200 credit instead of $180. The computer somehow show $200 instead of $180. Plus 1000 minutes long distance call the the country of your choice.
Is the gift card a Walmart gift card? Or mastercard?

Short question. If i refer someone on PM i get a referal credit. If i now decide to switch to koodo i cannot use the credit anymore. Do they refund that or not? I fear they don't
Your fears are correct. Public Mobile is prepaid and don't provide refunds even if it's your own cash. That said you can have the money transferred to an another Public Mobile account beforehand.

Bill credits don't include tax. Referral credits don't include tax. No credit from Koodo include tax. Your monthly bill will be $41.50.

I initiated a PM to Koodo migration on Friday. I received an order confirmation number but now I would like to go to Walmart and get a phone on a TAB. Is it too late for me to get the Walmart deal?
It's never too late. Just get another line and cancel it right away.

Is this possible in your experience? I searched the PM forums and everyone seems to say transferring credits to another PM customer is not possible.
Here is the link to PM person who said moderators allowed the transfer. This is for additional credits in their account (over and above service already paid for) i.e. not money spent on next 3 months service etc.

Why you care ? This is RFD not PM forums , you can not control here Grinning Face With Smiling EyesGrinning Face
See Telus stock going Skyrocks Grinning Face the shares holder happy like hell Grinning FaceGrinning Face With Smiling Eyes
I would not want to be a Telus shareholder. They converted $40 prepaid to $35 postpaid. That will hurt the ARPU. Moreover these new postpaid customers will be paying $20 a month for the first year. The most important thing is the psychological lower limit for cell plans at $40 had now been breached. That is why I keep saying the mother of all migration offers will come in December. Remember back in February, the first migration offer was $40/4GB. That's looking like a cruel joke right now. A $35/8GB Christmastime gift is not out of the question. Along with avoiding Telus stock, Shaw is even more precarious. Why would anyone with freedom not be getting Public Mobile service and waiting for the offers.

Me and my wife on PM and both got the promo text.
1. If I stack 5G/35 plan with medium tab and LG V30, will I get 180 credit? Isn’t this plan for you phone activation only?
2. How to get referral credit if I want to switch her first?
3. Is here some referral request thread?
4. Then I guess we both can get the credit again if she references me. Is it correct?

If I call in to switch from the $45 to the $40 plan will they ask me again to verify my PM number?
