$0 means the UPFRONT cost.. and that only applies to certain phones (often the better phones still have an upfront cost).
The tabs (small-medium) will be between $4-15 extra per month for 24 months depending on the phone.

Its not a contract specifically its a promise to pay off the tab over 24 months (adding $4-$15 to your monthly bill).
It can be paid off at anytime though if you want another phone or to move to another company.

Check Koodo website or your local retailer for the price of the phones.

when I went in walmart yesterday, the rep said 30$ is waived off until today (monday).

Hmmm.. I wonder if I'm better of staying with Public Mobile. I'm paying $23 plus tax for 4.5 gb with all my referrals etc.

I'd stay if I was paying $23 for 4.5GB.

I signed up 2 lines at Walmart and they both said (bill credit) BC $200.

It's my own number and I am still on Public Mobile? Never been a Koodo customer.

It really depends on how much data you use. If you use 6 to 8 GB easily like some of my friends do, then it is not good to stay.
Ask yourself if 4.5GB is enough for you yourself.

yeah 23 is good for 4.5 seeing you need to pay $35 + tax for a 5gb so 11.5 for 0.5 gb not worth. u shud let me use the promotion instead of u Smiling Face With Open Mouth

If you aren't seeing the $180 credit then someone must have scooped your number. Perhaps try a different web browser and see if it appears?

Try clearing the cache and changing to private/incognito mode.
Also try different web browsers.

Or you could sign up for $35/5GB, and with 6 referrals, you get $300 credit per year, making your plan $10/5GB

Is that only for Walmart or WOW/TMS will also waive off the $30 today?

Personally, I wouldn't be able to find 6 referrals.

thats assuming the referral bonus remains at $50 but it fluctuates between 25 and 50. and you constantly have to recruit people which is easier said than done. with public, he doesnt have to do shit and the referrals have brought his bill down permanently.

Are people still receiving the text from PM? Or was it just one batch of texts for those qualified?

Paradoxical wrote: none of the tab offers seem like a good deal. the medium tab is for $360 at least and mostly mediocre outdated phones
I suggest separating plan purchases from phone purchases. Once you get a plan, as a Koodo customer, you have access to phone deals as an existing customer regardless of tab size. Get a new line if needed to buy the phone. Cancel the new line right away once the phone is shipped. The extra cost is a free days of service. The flexibility is worth it.
