When they activate your 2nd line, will it just show up in your main account?

Bit of a funny situation for me here. Switched Public to Koodo for the $40/6GB offer (plan 1), somehow still got the offer for $40 8GB plus $180 bill credits (plan 2). They called this morning and said plan 2 will be added to my account as another line. So how do i switch my current number from plan 1 to plan 2? Do I port out to pre-paid then port back into plan 2? If so, whats the cheapest/best way of doing this? Thanks!

Port out to prepaid either Koodo or PM. Don’t go outside the Telus family. PM is cheaper. $10 plan

Not too sure about the specifics, but when I was checking out I was offered the option of "give me a new number" or "transfer my current number."
Current cell plans: $50 Telus 5GB, $40 Koodo 8GB, $0 Fido Unlimited Data (previously $15/3GB tablet promo)

Carrier exes:
Zoomer $36 3GB, Freedom Everywhere 45 plan, Rogers $120 yearly prepaid, Koodo prepaid, Telus prepaid, T-Mobile in Canada

Look like you have Koodo account set up already, login in your Koodo account, your sim card already activated
