Am I supposed to see the -$15/month for 12 months note referenced on the final order screen? I saw the note when I first selected the $40/8GB plan, but as I progressed to check out the note dropped out before the credit card screen and the final order screen doesn't reference -$15/month at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I know most of you have done the math already but just want to point out that
the $35 for 5GB is $7 per GB, which is the most expensive per GB out of all the promos we have thus far.
don't let the lower price tag fool you.

$40 for 6 is 6.6666
$60 for 10 is $6
$45 for 8 is $5.625
$40 for 8 is $5

Has anyone from pm that couldn't activate it online tried to call koodo to see if the reps could help instead?

I don't understand why they just don't offer this plan to "everyone".......force all the other places to lower their prices.

Will probably pick up a PM Sim card quite shortly.

Yea but if you only use on average 2-3gb and don't need 8 or 10gb, then lowering your monthly cost is best.

I'm on Koodo 4gb $40 plan migrated from pm 40$ 4gb. Anyone on this original Koodo plan able to get down to $35 for 5gb?

I don't know why, but it seems like Telus is trying to kill Public Mobile.

It's good for the people that don't need that much data. It's like if they offered you 25gb at $4.75/gb, it would be the cheapest per GB but if you don't use that much to utilize it, it's not really cheaper in that sense.

I wonder how they going to report their subscriber numbers,
if they have one person sign up for prepaid, and then port into post paid same month,
does that equal two subscriber counts for the month?

Now I'm confused by that math... it looks to me and maybe others that it's $35 a month - $15 = $20 for unlimited canada wide with 5GB for 1 year. That's how I'm readying it..... anyone else?
Telus EPP - $40 30GB data w/ Unlimited Canada Wide Talk/Text - Incl. Apple Watch LTE
Public Mobile $34 50GB 5G Unlimited Talk/Text Canada/US
TextNow SIM X 2 Unlimited US CAN MEX Talk/Text in US FREE! 1 CAD 1 US.
Fongo $17.99 12 month texting

yes the $180 discount is spread out over 12 months so that you can't take the money and leave them,
after 12 months you will be paying the full price $35 plus tax. (assuming they haven't increase the price by then)

This is right. After 1 year, it goes to $35/month, but you can always offset this with referral credits! Up to $300 per year.

Bill credit is after tax

(35*1.13) - 15 = $24.55

That's correct.

$35 + Tax - $15 = Final Price monthly for 5GB

$40 + Tax - $15 = Final Price monthly for 8GB

I'm calling in to switch as I switched to the 8gb/$45 only 3 days ago. Hopefully things go well. Will ask about the credits but I don't really mind as I do have 3 referrals for $150 in credits as well coming in. The $180/12 months would be a nice bonus :) Will update as I go through this process.
Journie: Use my promo code JR-ColinTOUM during registration, and you’ll automatically save 2¢/ L on your next fill-up. (Full disclosure: Once you do, I get a discount, too!)

Wow! What an ordeal. But I got it. It took 3 hours and about 4 calls (kept getting disconnected) but finally got 8GB/$40 with $180 bill credits.

If you have received your SIM from the previous promo but no activation e-mail, CALL Koodo. They can get you on this plan with the bill credits.

Now of course your number actually has to be eligible for this plan, which fewer PM numbers are.

Also someone mentioned this plan isn't eligible for medium tab, which is incorrect. It definitely is.

But 35$ is 5$ less/month out of our pocket :) Tbh, not a lot of people need that much data.

So no one else has encountered this? I've tried 2 different browsers. I can understand if my PM# is not valid. But it's not even accepting the code.

so I am guessing the people who spend hours on phone are the ones who never got the text?

because I am thinking a logical person would just do a prepaid to postpaid dance to get it with a $180 credit.

Try texting the word offer to 5130 or 5132. You may have opted out...
