I received $ 100 credits when was referred by my family member to join koodo back in March.
After joining koodo I have referred 4 people to join koodo so I will receive $ 10 per referral per month strating from next month (October) which will be total for $ 120 by end of December. Koodo referral max limit is $ 300 per calender year.
I am not sure if the earlier $ 100 I received when I joind koodo counts towards my total allowable referral credits or not ?
Also, starting from January it will be new calender year so do I have room to refer more people since $ 300 limit will be split into 2 separate calender years since they will give the credits $ 10 per month per referral.

Its the latter, $ 10 / month. So you are saying the credits are tied to the phone number of my first line? As I said above I will make sure the second line is active before I port out the first line. If I have 2 lines under 1 account do both line have different account numbers ? I don't think so..
Anyways.. If I loose referral credits I will be able to offset that loss by the $ 180 bill credits on the second line.
The rest is doable.. Right ? Like not losing my phone number?
Is the $10/month being issued already or pending? The one stipulation with refer a friend is that each line works separately from other lines. I learned that the hard way back in March when I kept on referring using the same line. Once I hit $300 on that line, I was getting nothing even though the referred party got their reward. I had to use the referral links from my other lines to do referrals. From that I rationalize that the payout end is also tied to the line. If the line disappears, so do the rewards. Looking closely at the referral approval emails, the phone number and account number are identified. It would stand to reason that these two items are there for a reason. If the account or the number is gone, then the reward goes as well. I could be totally wrong here. If you are not too far away from pay day, keep the two lines open for a while and let the $10 per month start trickling in and then cancel. Maybe if you are lucky the system will continue to flow money in.

I can definitely say based on my own experience, the reward limit is $300 per line based on the total of moneys from being referred and referring. The $100 back in March definitely counts toward the total. The $300 limit is a calendar year thing and so January 1 is fresh start. I thought it was based on a rolling 365 day window. I just checked the refer a friend site and it is calendar year.

Ordered a new line on my Koodo account. I know it has been answered here but what's the most cost-effective and quickest way of porting out from Koodo Postpaid to porting into this new line. Koodo or Virgin or Public Mobile Prepaid?

Thank you for the response. Will this be mentioned on the activation email at all? That's my worry. The activation email just quotes the $40 plan and there is no mention of the $15 credit.

Go to WOW mobile for the free Public Mobile sim and activate with $10 plan. Total cost is $10 plus tax. Port in and out within minutes.
