Hey guys,

Someone used my number for the migration plan without my consent,

Who do I contact to fix this?

I can't seem to find the Koodo number.

Thanks
I also recommend to go activate in store, so you don't lose out on the offer.

Do you have proof? If you go in store all you show them is the text and the reps handle the rest.

As a couple of RFDers have mentioned, I get the impression they want everyone off PM and with Koodo because they can charge more.

They are being really aggressive with it. I declined about 2 times and I had to shut it down on the 3rd saying I'm not switching.

I get the feeling that either 1) there gonna be better deals OR 2) I get screwed over when PM shuts down lol.

Think of PM as a feeder provider...
There will always be a need.

Does anyone know if I can keep my PM account if I activate with Koodo? Essentially I'll be holding two lines and I'll give the new Koodo line to someone else.

Thanks

They goofed up their site for a few minutes there. Just refresh the page and it will go back to normal.
Yup, it changed back :)

It's been discussed a million times. You get to keep your PM account as long as you don't port the number in the end.

Either ways, I'm okay cuz I get a decent deal through my work plan so I'm saving about $13 a month by sticking with PM.

I'm paying about $32 bucks right now. Koodo's gotta make it worthwhile for me to switch. It's almost there, not yet though.

Did they give you a 2gb add-on or did they change the whole plan?

For anyone look to move to PM for a potential future migration, there is another plan to consider at PM
$50 8GB and now includes Unlimited Cda wide and unlimited USA calling
I bet the eventual migration plans to Koodo from that PM plan will be insanely good, and customers in this thread won’t be able to argue anymore that they would have been offered the new migration plans had they just waited; it will no longer be a $40 PM plan that people are migrating from.

Please do not PM me for tech support. I help out on the forums when I can. Thank you.

Telus will keep PM to compete with Chatr(Rogers) and Lucky(Bell) for the low cost prepaid market. I think PM is winning that market because PM is not a zone based provider. The Koodo migration effort continues to add a lot of new PM activations who are hoping to get the migration offer later. This is a clear marketing strategy which feeds itself with new customers.
Have too many phones... This is how I limit my monthly phone payment.
Koodo $25 plan, Public Mobile $37 5GB, $13 250MB, $7 50min/50text,
Zoomer loyalty family plan for 3 lines $95/6GB, $0 FPL home phone
