The Koodo migration effort continues to add a lot of new PM activations who are hoping to get the migration offer later. This is a clear marketing strategy which feeds itself with new customers.
Yeah, and it’s pretty smart.
Please do not PM me for tech support. I help out on the forums when I can. Thank you.

BST trading for $50 or $60 is a steal don't forget $180 bill in credit that worth it

Just received activation email. Now instead of transferring PM number I want to transfer rogers number, but I don't wan't to cancel the rogers line but give it to my wife. Any ideas what would happen with the rogers line if I transfer the number to Koodo. Will they assign me a temp number?

I got my activation email yesterday and immediately got a transaction change email right after.

I was activated on a $35 500 min plan but then it immediately changed to my $40 8GB plan. Weird...

You Roger's account will be cancelled as soon as the number is ported to Koodo.

If you transfer the Rogers number, that plan will terminate. Nothing can be done about that. You can talk to Rogers to see if they will give you that same plan on a different number before you port.

Not sure about Rogers, but I've done similar with Koodo.

I had a Koodo line. I called 611 and told them that I will port my number out but will keep the line. I asked can I get a new number should I decide to reconnect my existing line.

They said it's doable, and I was indeed able to do it. Call Rogers, and explain it to them.

Called Koodo this morning hoping to get my current plan ($60/6GB/500mins) changed to this deal or just anything cheaper really with more minutes.

Asked if I had to let them know i was cancelling and if I would be pro-rated. Rep answered my questions and wished me a good day. I guess taking the subtle approach doesn't work and I'll have to call back and just ask if they can improve on it.

You want to make Koodo seem like their not helping you out?
Really has nothing to do with this migration plan or any migration plans that were offered previously. What you're doing can be done by anyone anytime.

Question for anyone that ported from Koodo postpaid to public back to Koodo postpaid, were you able to port your Koodo number into public without issues as the public page mentions to "contact us" when porting from Koodo or PC, or do they mean if you're porting from Koodo prepaid to public as they share the same back end.
