I dont really need a new phone but is it still better deal to just get it for the sake of a giftcard?

Whats the best phone to get to resell? Haha
Yes, yes it is worth it.

Does anyone know if I redeem the plan but let my spouse port over instead and I stay with public mobile, would I still be eligible for future promos or is my number considered no longer with public mobile? Not sure if they do a check from time to time or just assume the number is now with koodo. Thanks!

Well, heres hoping for the $35/10 GB plan lol.

I don't think I am ever gonna give the PM plan cuz the credits and loyalty discounts matter to me.
Hoping my new $10 PM plan ($8 with autopay), pays off :)
Going to keep this number for a while, as I'm still ahead by $5 for the first year, until the $180 credit is all gone.

I called again following your approach, currently being transferred to a supervisor, I'm wondering if you spoke with the first level agent about this or someone at a higher level?
I'm pretty sure it was a first level agent. She was the first one that picked up the call and she had an accent, so I assume it was a call center that is outsourced.

Public Mobile if everything works. Otherwise Koodo prepaid.
Can you explain 'if everything works'?

What is time and price of PM prepaid vs time and price of Koodo prepaid

I'm with Chat-R paying $30/month for 6GB data, unlimited province-wide calling, unlimited international text, etc.... but it has zones.... not sure if worth switching..
Do it if you can afford/justify the cost. The experience is night and day compared to Chatr. I know cuz I came from Chatr. Even publics "3G" plans are a TON better. Full speed LTE completely blows Chatr away not only because of speed but because of consistency and usability.

Some people here had issues porting from Koodo to PM and if the port has issues, the PM community mods take ages to respond. Koodo prepaid is at least $10 for sim and $10 top up.
I love RFD! :)

I redeemed the code in march for the 40 for 6 gb, it worked for 45 for 8gb and the recent 35/40 dollar plans. So the chances of their being another promotion for the number is very very high if you manage to not port your public mobile line.

Just received activation email. Now instead of transferring PM number I want to transfer rogers number, but I don't wan't to cancel the rogers line but give it to my wife. Any ideas what would happen with the rogers line if I transfer the number to Koodo. Will they assign me a temp number?
The rogers line will be dead the moment ported out to Koodo
I only response to real deals, otherwise I am blank
