.. this promo is weird. I had 3 lines with PM, tried one, and got in, but the other two - no dice (none got the text message to switch).

I was under the impression that Koodo was trying to get all PM accounts. Not so? Anyone know if I can move the other two numbers if I call in?
YMMV, but higher chance if you do it in store.
I love RFD! :)

It is a HUGE YMMV thing since it totally depends on store rep

I am 4 for 5 (80%) so far tho so pretty good success rate

I always hit places like Walmart or Bestbuy
I find Wow and Koodo much harder to scam
Were you able to port numbers from any carriers or just PM numbers?

Did this migration off expire at 1200 AM this morning? Or does it expire tonight at 1159 pm? Want to go to Wow Mobile to port over.

Thanks!

He used some other method where he texted himself, so wanted to see how his method worked. I've been lurking and kept up with the thread.

Doesn't specify when it expires or which timezone. I'd do it ASAP to be safe.

Has anyone gotten their first bill? I got it but they didn't deduct $15 off my $35/5GB bill instead I was charged $35+GST. When is this supposed to kick in or do I have to call them to correct it?

I'd be pissed knowing people paid nothing to get the plan updated and i had to pay $10. However it might have taken me a few more tries to get it. anyhow...
how did you pay $10 and get this plan? Does it work for new PM numbers? I thought it doesn't work.

I think you'll have to call in - I got my first bill and it included the credit:

Telus will keep PM to compete with Chatr(Rogers) and Lucky(Bell) for the low cost prepaid market. I think PM is winning that market because PM is not a zone based provider. The Koodo migration effort continues to add a lot of new PM activations who are hoping to get the migration offer later. This is a clear marketing strategy which feeds itself with new customers.
Lucky is the worst. They advertised their plan as LTE lite (3g) instead of 3g.

The sales rep said it will show LTE on your phone but you only get the 3g speed. Is that even legal ?

I was told 2nd bill. I signed up online, doesn't show 15$. Called in and they said it's pending.
