You people are amateurs. I called several times and it took less than 3 minutes to get ahold of a person. (And no, I'm not one of you losers calling about getting the 8gb/$40 plan) The key is knowing what to press and NOT to call in with a number they recognize on their system, if that's the only number you have access to, then block the outbound caller ID so they don't recognize your number and tie it to an existing account.

That being said, I'm not advising on how to jump the queue as that's my secret.

I do indeed have a code that lets me proceed, but when i go to finalize, says its been inuse :(

And because Koodo doesn't update their website until 8-9 am from my experience.

Hey guys I got my SIM card. So I originally wanted to port my PM number to Koodo.

How do I go about doing this? Apparently I do it through self-serve, can somebody give me a brief step-by-step summary? I just want to make sure I don't mess anything up to avoid a headache.

1. Log in to self serve.
2. Find 'Manage your phone number'.
3. Select Transfer your phone number.
4. Under 'I want to move a number', enter your public number. On the next page, enter your public account number and pin and complete transfer.

You'll get an SMS on Koodo sim when the transfer is complete. Usually instant in case of public to Koodo.

Using Self Serve
Moving your phone number
You can move your number in Self Serve. Here's how.

Log in to your Self Serve account.
From the Self Serve drop-down menu, select Mobile services.
Under “Get a new phone number”, select Change.
Select I want to move a number.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page.
Enter your new phone number.
Select Submit.
If your number is eligible to move, fill out the required information.
Select Submit. Your changes will be confirmed.

Likely nothing, but it's YMMV.
