Might try and see if I can get "accepted" but just complete the port in a couple of weeks.
It's not that bad. Order online and that will burn a week or so if time.

Oh so your number doesn't get ported over from PM until the sim card comes in the post is it and you "activate" it online is it?

Guess I could hold onto it for another few days after receiving it...

Has anyone successfully got this with a free sim & activation at Walmart for example?

Ordering online will take a good week plus the activation email is a few days later. You don't choose when that happens.... But it will be a slow process. Order online and your timeline should be good.

Chances are not very good, might have to take a few calls to get it done.

Does anyone know what is the criteria for new PM customers to receive a text to migrate over to Koodo?

You're literally asking if anyone has a crystal ball on who will be targeted next??
The closest thing you'll get to this is the original post...

Anyone had issues updating their billing address on the Koodo self serve? It keeps saying “oops something went wrong on our end, please try again.”

I’m using their suggested address too via the Canada Post suggestion prompt so I know it’s in the correct format.

The $40 plan, a couple of months and your fingers and toes crossed.

Okay cool, I assume there's no time limit between when they send it out and you have to activate and port over ?

As SIM could get lost in post, delayed etc.

Could indeed be your phone or maybe your sim card. PM and Koodo are the same network.
I love RFD! :)

That sucks. I have the $60/10 GB plan with Telus now. I was hoping to just buy the SIM and activate the least expensive line and migrate over to Koodo when they have another migration offer.

Usually, if there's a network issue it's related to coverage and congestion. If you had the XS then I can see it being the phone.

Reset your network settings and reboot.

It don’t work like that - this whole thing is a game to the multi-millionaire CEOs, just playing with you like the cats do with mice before they decapitate them.
