Yeah...but he'll lose his coupon code...it's one-time use and your brother will hate you
Curious about this, it has been mentioned that the phone number is like a coupon code, does anyone know if PM really base it by the phone number or by the actual account number

oh damn...i was planning to sell ip7+ and go back to android with this one.
I was super excited to get it...after using it for a few days...it's good...it has a lot of good things going for it...amazing battery life, easily 8-9 hours SOT with a 4000mah battery....great camera...but the UI is really bad and I miss the silent/ring/vibrate button on OP/IPhones

Got the promo message. I am currently on the Fall Promo from 2016. I am not switching to this. Happy with my prepaid Public Mobile plan which should never change based on the promises made by PM.

You don't think it has anything to do with the fact that the 12gb/3 months/$120 plan people can NEVER have their rates raised?
Sure they can. So can anybody who gets this deal
Bell Loyalty (or unloyalty) could only offer me a plan that was MORE than my pretty bad current plan $55/2GB Boyd ... 15 year customer... bye Bell. Hello Koodo and public mobile

My girlfriend got this offer but she is not interested in taking advantage of it. I’m currently on the Koodo $60/10gb plan, is there any way I can use my girlfriends code to get the $40/8gb plan?

$10/50mins/texts PM -> $45/8gb -> $40/8gb
One call less than 2 hour wait and less than 5 minutes speaking with a single rep who changed plan and confirmed update on self serve.
Excellent service. Did not push for any extra credits as I was originally $10 plan.
Was this a previously activated PM line? I’m assuming you got the text offer?

Wow, this is one busy thread! I guess the obstacle I faced trying to get $40/6gb plan with $100 referral credit back in March was a blessing in disguise. Due to fraud alert in my credit file, I couldn't apply online while I was in USA. As soon as I returned, I went to the Koodo store, I was with a sales guy for 2 hours trying to get my id verified. Gave up. Now I've got these 2 offers. I'm hoping things will be easier this time.

Just wanna make sure I do this properly! Do you mean I need to buy a new SIM card from another carrier, port my Koodo number to that new SIM card, then go through the set up process for this plan, and then port my Koodo number onto the new plan?

Also, would it work if I just potted out to Koodo prepaid?

I just tested that $30 500MB plan (signed on Aug 18) is NOT eligible. Can PM bill be prorated if I change over to $40 4.5GB 3G plan now so that I can get the promotion. Don't want to lose $33.60 I just paid days ago.

They're not going to call your friend, unless you also used his number in the online application.

Does anyone know if it's possible to port out a Koodo number to bell prepaid and then port back into Koodo within the same day? Or is there a mandatory period of 90 days or something where you can't port back in the same number?
