Just out of curiosity, has anyone that migrated to PM from Rogers (with a Rogers number) gotten this migration text? Or is this strictly for PM originating numbers?
We ported to PM from Zoomer and received this migration promo.

Port out your Koodo number to Koodo prepaid.
Once you receive your new simcard, activate, log in to the self serve portal and proceed to port from Koodo prepaid.
Awesome!! I’m gonna try this tomorrow Slightly Smiling Face

Anyone with the $30 500mb plan get the offer?

I'm signing my uncle up for Public Mobile to hopefully get an offer like this down the line, the 500mb plan would be enough for him but want to ensure he gets offers down the line.

Also, how long does the process take to port a number from Rogers to Public Mobile
$75/15GB + 10GB/$15
$35/5GB
Thank you El Tabador

I used my home phone number without any issues.
odd. just went through the process again. you're right. fudge.
dont know what went wrong. hopefully they never call to verify things.

did you get a call at any time when signing up? or did it just eventually go through?

Nope. It's quite well-documented that this specific plan had "no surprises" and a promise to never change the fee...

Here we go again...

It’s a bit off topic but maybe take a look at the crtc wireless code. Any plan can be raised with 30 days notice. And I believe that’s post paid. Pre paid doesn’t even have a restriction.
No surprises who know what that means legally. They could remove ALL rewards so your paying full price. Throttle PM LTE to 3mbps etc etc

You’d have to take it to court. I wish it would stay as is (I have a plan as well) but I’m not going to guarantee that due to a vague post.

Good luck.

PM is really not so crappy. At all. It's the best PAYG service available IMO. You won't notice being on LTE Lite.
Agreed - I did a speed test against my wife on a better phone on Rogers and my PM speed was better. It's really a great system...

No calls yet.
Doesn't seem to be a routine procedure, as only a handful of people from the previous promo reported being called to confirm if they "legitimately" signed up.

Anyone get a non-activated order switched from the $45 plan to the new offer? I'm waiting on the SIM card but haven't actually switched to the $45 plan yet. I was going to call the Online store support when they open on Monday, but I might just visit a store instead.

A number that I activated for one month only back in June works for this promo, the line is currently active with no service and yet received text offers.

If you have any guests staying in Canada for a week or two, get PM for them (I got the $40 4.5GB plan back in June for $20 after referral and activation bonus minus SIM card fee and airtime) and don't forget the number as you can use this promo for somebody else.

I called Koodo and they said this promotion is 3G only, not LTE.

Can someone else confirm this is true?
Hmm I wouldn't think that's true but I don't know.

You're absolutely right about having to fight it in court, but they're pretty explicit in their T and C's...

Are you saying you got 6gb for $35?
That's correct.
