I'm on the 90 day/$120/12GB plan as well but I never receive these promo texts - does anyone know if I can still get the offer without receiving the text?
My PM number doesn't work in the validation code section online.

It seems they're only targeting the $120/12GB plan from Fall 2016.

So, the only thing holding me back is this:

Does Public Mobile refund you the balance of the 90-day prepayment you made?

Like, if I just re-upped for another 90 days about three weeks ago, once the switch is done, do I get any of that back, or am I burning that money?

EDIT: I found the answer. Public Mobile does not offer partial refunds of any kind. So if you are new into your 90-day window, you're burning whatever you already paid to PM.

try it and let us know if it'll work.. i worked the first time for me. i took the first PM to Koodo offer ($40/5gb) to quickly, and then 2 weeks later, it was $40/6gb. I called a complained and they gave me the 6gb for $40. Now its, 8GB for $40. wth!

I've always just brushed off these deals because they always had huge amounts of data which I I'd never use... This changes that...

Right now with discounts, I'm paying $32.50/month for 4 GB of data and province-wide calling. So for $2.50 per month extra, I get an extra GB of data (not that I really need it, as I rarely go over 2 or 3 GB but still nice to have), but more importantly, as my mother in law lives out of province, I get Canada wide calling. Also, have to keep in mind that if my referees jump ship then some of my discount goes away and this may end up being a better deal. Crap, not sure what I'm going to do.

I just confirmed that I can get a phone on a Medium tab with either the $35 plan or $40 plan
And the $35 plan also includes the $180 credit ($15 for 12months)

Now - it's time to wait for Walmart to come to the table

no refunds.. you'll lose the unused paid $. That's why Koodo is giving you the bill credit.
