If a member reading this is on the phone to a rep, could they ask whether the $180 credit is stackable with the regular refer-a-friend $300 max credit?

I would be most grateful.
The $180 ($15 x 12) is assigned automatically by the system as a plan feature, no different than the fact the $35 plan comes with 5GB data. Asking an agent to confirm is an invitation for story telling. It's not up to them. Referrals are a totally different credit subject to their own terms. That separate limit is $300 per line and up to 7 lines if you have many lines in an account. My Koodo account has referral credits, bill credits from activation, SPC credits from phone purchases. None of each credit stream affect each other.

Ahh man, I got the promo text. However, I still have $90 in my PM account to use up. Probably worth it to drop it and get $180 in credits plus $50 referral.

Damn, I just activated yesterday on the $45 plan. If I waited, I could have saved $5 per month.
I'm on the same boat with you.

Do you think we will be able to get some sort of compensation by calling in Koodo? Or be able to get the $40 / 8gb? Kind of similar to when you can get a price difference back if them item you bought in store goes down in price shortly after you bought the product.

It's worth the hassle to move to PM and wait for a promo. I waited 3 months and got it. And PM is not bad at all.

Well. I'd like to churn a phone. But use my friends pm number.
The issue is I lose the $10 monthly bonus for 12 months and the 2gig bonus data since I will close/portout that number while keeping the other pm that I create online.
Well nothing can be done when you close a line with an ongoing rebate being applied. This is why they are not giving one time credits anymore like the last migration. They want you to stay.

For anyone on the $45/8GB I highly recommend taking a discount as apposed to changing plan if you want a phone in the future as medium tab starts at $45. Would save having to change or activate a new line. I'm going to try and call in and see if they will do the 10% discount would personally make me happy.

I think the thing with the 100 credit last time was people were just opening up lines and cancelling when they got the credit. So essentially free 100 dollars every time you sign up.

They will tell you they don't have a time machine either. Don't waste time beating the dead horse. I would get another Public Mobile account and see if they are still giving out this offer. Remember the last offer only expired a few days ago.

I just wanted clarification and you have provided that, thank you.
If you CAN stack then getting the 35/5 is going to be free for a year + credit left in balance together with maxed out referral.

Again, this plan qualifies for medium tab despite being $40.

Can someone help me out please. My wife is a current koodo customer on the old $48 Manitoba/Sask deal. She would like to jump to the 5GB/$35 offer. My dad is Public mobile customer and is happy with his plan.

Can I use his account to get her the deal? If so someone please tell me how to do so? TIA
