Again, this plan qualifies for medium tab despite being $40.
I see that now looking but I wonder if that only applies off the hop anyone on byop with $40/8GB in Ontario can you choose a medium tab plan in self serve?

For anyone on the $45/8GB I highly recommend taking a discount as apposed to changing plan if you want a phone in the future as medium tab starts at $45. Would save having to change or activate a new line. I'm going to try and call in and see if they will do the 10% discount would personally make me happy.
Promo plans qualify for medium tab. I switched form $45 to $40 and still qualify. I'm on BYOP now.

Looking forward to the day that one last PM customer gets a text from Koodo for $40/20GB, and he says no. *PM scratches its head*

That is good to know for right now. I wonder if Koodoo will close the loop hole in the future, once everyone has ported over. Then they will force you to move to $45 if you want a new phone.

doubt it. People will just open a new line with the intention of cancelling that line and getting the phone.

Tab eligibility is a feature of the plan. It's not something that is subject to change. You can opt to use the tab feature anytime. It doesn't wear out with use, you can use it over and over again as long as you pay off the previous tab.

Paying $28 + tax after discounts for my fall 2016 PM plan, like others have said I might consider at $35 / 8 GB. You can target those with the 2016 promo only ;)

I have one pm number and 2 Koodo numbers, can I get the sim from this plan and then port over one of my Koodo numbers? Or do I have to specifically port my pm number?

They need to do better than that. Fido offered a $15/3GB data plan with free overage for 12 months. I am looking for a matching offer which means 100% bill credit offset for a year including data overage.

You can do whatever you want. To port Koodo to Koodo, you need to leave and come back.

If you got the text you can get the plan.

As far as we know they aren't forcing you to port your pm number if it's the same as previous promos

But to "port over a Koodo number" you'd have to port out of Koodo to say Rogers and back to Koodo (for an easy example)
Bell Loyalty (or unloyalty) could only offer me a plan that was MORE than my pretty bad current plan $55/2GB Boyd ... 15 year customer... bye Bell. Hello Koodo and public mobile

Port from Koodo to Koodo prepaid is more easier.

That is being disloyal using Rogers as a springboard. Why not do something like going to Public Mobile and back. It's an opportunity to earn $25 x 2 referral credits.

Easy but not as lucrative as using Public Mobile which is actually easy also.
