[Koodo] $45/4gb , Canada wide calling for Chatr/Fido prepaid/ Rogers prepaid - YMMV

First, it is big YMMV.

I was at Walmart to port over my PM to Koodo.
The rep told me he can also do $45/4gb plan , Canada wide calling if I port from Chatr, Fido prepaid or Rogers prepaid.

Remember you can get $50 refer credit if activate before Mar 1 or $25 credit after Mar 1.

I wonder is Koodo targetting Rogers now.

Bright side of RFD: Often find good deal
Dark side of RFD: Tons of stuff that I don't need but still got them because of RFD

Hmmm not bad for those not on Public Mobile. $40 for 4gb would make more sense though.

Pretty easy to set up a prepaid account with Rogers and get the deal.

Good deal. I wonder how long a person needs to be with chatr, Fido, Rogers before porting for this deal.

Any Koodo people phoning in to (politely) ask "WTF? Do I really have to port out to Rogers and then right back in to Koodo to get this?"

The current deal for Alberta for example is $45 for 2 GB.

I can't imagine it takes too long. Lots of people port to Koodo prepaid and back to Koodo postpaid with almost no waiting period.

Any more confirmation that this is true at other Walmart locations?
