[Koodo] $45/6gb, $40/4gb, $50/8gb, unlt t&t, med and small tab (Targeted)

Hi guys,
I logged onto Koodo on Thursday, and they had a promo $45/6gb Unlt talk&text, $40/4gb unlt t&t med and small tab, and a bunch of others, as per the pic.
However, it seemed like I had to upgrade/buy a phone along with that through the site. I'm not ready to pick up a phone, so I tried to change my plan but it reverted back to the regular plans. Really too bad since, I want a $40/6gb, but would have taken the $40/4gb with med/small tab and saved the tab for later.

Seems like the deal for me may be over, but you guys can check it out and report back.

[edit] seems like I still have access to the deal

Didn't know there was a $55/10GB, that's super helpful.. going to ask loyalty how to get this. Thanks!

Damn wonder how you got those choice, I logged in my account and don't see those deals. The 50$ for 8GB would be more realistic for me
😎Thanks RFD😎

Can confirm, went into my Self Serve and saw these options offered to me. Currently on the $40/6GB Public migration plan since April 2018.

Looks like it's only for 2-year phone activations though - unfortunate since I was looking to lock into a decent Medium tab-eligible BYOD plan before Black Friday phone deals come around.

Going to call Koodo and see if they can offer me something similar to the $50-$55 rate plans as BYOD instead.

Update: Rep told me there weren't any similar BYOD plans at the moment, but he'd give me a call before these plans expire (October 26th) and see if there's anything new he can offer.

Does anyone know if you can get these plans if you’re not currently a koodoo client?

Been with Koodo since at least 2014? Maybe longer. Before that with Telus.

Is that confirmed that these targeted deals expire Oct 26?

Good to know these decent plans exist with access to good phone deals for some of the population. This gives Koodo users the heads up to check their accounts online to see what's on offer.

This is much nicer than having to jump through hoops for a better plan. Even if it looks like it's YMMV.

Thanks to OP for that screenshot. Same with @qartan, loyalty could not offer me the plans as they are upgrade only right now.

However, I was able to get the $55/9GB Quebec plan instead (since I brought up the $55/10GB offer) and was able to keep my GTA phone number. I'm currently an Ottawa resident. So, if you guys are getting reps that are telling you that you can't keep your phone number (and I've probably spoken to literally 7different reps before) - that is entirely not true.

Loyalty also offered me a $5/month bill credit for 3 months as a hold over for the holiday season (in case better plans come up Black Friday/Boxing day, etc.)

Confirmed on my account everything carried over (including addons, etc.), just 9GB instead of 10GB now. No additional fees ($10 'plan change fee', etc.).

So while not the $60/12 + 2GB, or $55/10GB... this is good enough. Much thanks!
