West GTEH!
Sounds like Koodo is doing the old Bait & Switch.
Send you the Email and then Offer is nowhere to be seen/found.

Koodo replied to the situation on their community forum:
On Friday, November 12, some Koodo customers received an email in error with rate plan offers that were incorrectly keyed into the email. We are working as fast as we can to rectify this error and will be sending updated emails with corrected offer details to impacted customers as soon as possible. We are very sorry for the confusion this may have caused.

This was too good to be true I thought it was a mass phishing campaign at first. Good luck to all that try to swing this with loyalty!

Damn. I just switched to the Telus EPP last week as did my wife.

I got $50 for 12 GB and laughed and then my wife got the same email for $50 / 50GB and my jaw dropped.

I was going to call them when I got back into town Monday but came here first to see if it was even half ass legit.

Oh well. I’ll check back here Monday to see if anyone has made any progress on getting the deal.

Looks like those who did receive the e-mail will get "something" for their inconvenience.

I'm guessing it'll be along the lines of 1GB or 2GB "free data" for 24 months.

Freedom makes this a promo and then Koodo and the rest end up having to match it. Boom!

I imagine if it's a BYOD deal, get gain would be for a month or 2 for FM until customers experience the FM network and decide go back to the Big 3.

When FM locks people into those 24 month device contracts, that's when they retain their clients.
