[Koodo] Add 3GB of data for $9, or 9GB of data for $13 (YMMV, targeted)

Got a text offer from Koodo - Add 3GB of data for $9, or 9GB of data for $13.

I'm on the $6GB for $40 plan. Never come close to using 6GB, so I'm going to pass, but might be attractive to some.

I'm on the 8GB for $40 plan (usually use 4GB per month), I don't think 3GB extra is needed OR a good deal for $9.

Hey, get ready to feast on this sweet data offer. Add 3GB of data to your current plan for an extra $9/month, or 9GB of data for an additional $13/month. That means more: streaming, messaging and tracking your food on your food App and less worrying about cutting it close to your current data limit. Reply ADD to get our 3GB promo or reply DATA for our 9GB promo. Offer ends May 10, 2019. You're included on the list for Koodo offers and deals. Also just received the text.
9GB of data for $13, pretty good deal!
but 8GB is already enough for me, usually I will only use ~5GB each month
Thx OP, bought 10!

Really useless for me.
I am on $40/8GB plan, and i can't even use 3gb per month.

Bright side of RFD: Often find good deal
Dark side of RFD: Tons of stuff that I don't need but still got them because of RFD

Just got a text message from Koodo (a short-code number)
(been hoping for this) (big YMMV)

They have two data addons, similar but still different from their last text promotion.

3GB data / $9/mo - Reply with "ADD" - $3 per GB
9GB data / $13/mo - Reply with "DATA" - $1.44 per GB

The addons aren't as big as last time, but the pricing per GB is slightly better.

Attached image. Blurred name, bitly link, and exact time I got this because Koodo and I have somewhat of a 'history' if you know what I mean.

Makes me wonder if they're targeting people who already don't go anywhere near their data caps.

I'm on 4GB for $40 plus med. Tab. How do you get 6 or even 8 for $40! That is amazing.

Or Koodo just trying to generate extra revenue/profit.

Also received text msg. And like others I don't get close to my monthly data limit. I'll also pass on this offer.

I have 6gb for $40 and just got Apple Carplay yesterday. For anyone who has it and uses it a lot, how much data do you use a month?

I use Android auto (Google music) about 45 min day, 5 days a week on 'normal' quality. Use about 5gb a month

They have their own ideas for me ...
get ready to feast on this sweet data offer. Add 2GB of data to your current plan for an extra $10/month, or 4GB of data for an additional $15/month. That means more: streaming, messaging and tracking your food on your food App and less worrying about cutting it close to your current data limit. Reply ADD to get our 2GB promo or reply DATA for our 4GB promo. Offer ends May 10, 2019.

I was once like you - switched from PM when they offered 4gb for $40. Then when I saw they had sweetened the offer to get more people to switch, I called customer service and they bumped me to 6GB. Never bothered trying to get it up to 8GB, but others held out for that amount.

Similar situation, 8GB/$45 is enough, didnt bother to get it $40 and credits.
