Got the $13 offer but not this offer

As stated in all of the previous add on treads for Koodo.

Most of the time this deal is targeted towards individuals that never go over on data.
The idea is to get you to pay the extra money for something you're likely to never use.

Quick Question I'm on the $45/8GB plan and took up the $13/9GB Addon.

If i change my plan does the add on still remain? Basically i'm thinking if i can reduce my monthly plan for cheap. Any comments/Suggestions?

Got the text about half an hour after deal was posted, might actually take advantage this time, going to be on the road a lot in August and might be tethering and streaming some video. Too bad there is no $25 plan anymore, might have switched to it since $40 plan is no longer tab medium eligible.

Cheapest plan is $30 (with no minutes) so you would end up paying $43. I believe others have reduced their plans in the past to a $25 one.

I got the txt, but don't need it for sure.
I have $40/8GB plan, and usually use about 3-4gb per month

I wonder do they just offer to people actually don't need it.
:)

0 minutes on that $30 plan and you'd lose tab eligibility. Should just stay on the current plan.

Odd. I am on the 5 GB, unlimited Canada wide calling and MMS $35 plan, and I got the text.

Probably, since I think they'd earn way more on overage charges for people that go over consistently. This would be their way of squeezing more money out of people who would generally never go over (and therefore, are less likely to need it).

Get an additional 4GB of data for $10/month, or get 10GB of data for $14/month.
Is the 10 GB option adding an additional 10GB, or regardless of current plan and get 10 GB total for additional $14?

The way it's worded looked a bit tricky.

And for data point: Currently on $40/6GB public mobile migration.

On $40/6GB plan, didn't receive text. Replied "DATA" to the data usage warning number (7817) for fun and received a reply saying additional 500 MB data is applied. It didn't specify at how much (previous warning messages say reply "YES" for 2GB for $20/month, "SAVE" for 1GB for $15/month. Checking self service to see how much this random addin I just added cost... Just received an email saying it's $10/month for this addon Smiling Face With Horns
