[Koodo] Any TAB 5GB data bonus - 9Gb Data with Talk/text for $50

I just saw that on https://www.koodomobile.com. They are offering a 5GB data bonus on any tab for new customers only. I was thinking to call retention, but I rather wait and see the new phone releases in a month or so.

In summary with any tab you can get:
$50 - 4GB plan => 9GB
$55 - 6GB plan => 11GB
$60 - 8GB plan => 13GB

Edit 1:
According to Rodigo, it is also available to existing customers when upgrading hardware.

It's also available for existing customers but a HUP is required. Basically mirroring the Walmart deal that expires today.

This is in response to Virgin Mobile's response to Koodo's original Walmart-only deal.

Does it vary based on Provence? Checking the site here in Ontario I'm only seeing 2GB Bonus on the $50 (2+2=4GB), $55 (4+2=6GB) & $60 (6+2=8GB) plans, also 2 options for $45, 1GB regular or promo 2GB. Currently with Freedom Mobile with 2+3=5GB for $40 so was kinda hoping it was 5GB & applied to cheapest Tab plan (Tab Basic $35)

Edit: Just figured it out, have to select a Phone (put phone in Cart) then look at plans, not go to plans 1st, only for $50, $55, $60 & $75 plans

It's available in all provinces, except Quebec from what I can tell.

The deal described in the OP is accurate. You just need to go into a store and activate new account or upgrade existing account.

Please note that this deal appears to not stack with any other offer. So if you had, for example, a Tab credit, on your account, this will supersede that.

Apparently 512GB iPhone 11 Pro isn't available @ Koodo.
Or it would never be available in any service provider because 512GB model would have to be purchased at Apple Store?

Anyone?

I don't think it is only for upgrade tabs. I'm sure if you are on BYOP and call in to loyalty to cancel and switch to virgin mobile, they will match the plan at no cost..

Which response from Virgin Mobile would that be? (Genuinely asking)

Thank you for checking that. I ended up not even checking on my account.

honestly all the phone deals suck and will lock you on a two year contract essentially but i guess its probably the same for virgin mobile. I suggest doing byod and then upgrading when they actually have sales for phones.

Not sure about that. When you click on the fine print it states: "Subject to credit approval. While supplies last. Must purchase on a Tab to redeem this offer. Monthly Tab charge and conditions apply."
And then when you add to cart it makes no mention of the bonus 5 GB on the checkout page.
