Certified Pre-Owned iPhone 4s 8gb $150 or $200 w/o activation *YMMV In-Store*

Price:
150.00
Went to the White Oaks Mall Koodo kiosk in London the other day, looking to price out the certified pre-owned iPhone 4s 8gb. While at Bell and Rogers it was $300, Koodo had theirs for $150 + tax with a new activation, or $200 without activation.

I actually took this info to Rogers and they told me it was $300+ for a certified pre-owned one, but they gave me a "like new" open-box return for the $150 + tax with a $35 bring-your-own-phone Canada-wide talk and text plan with voicemail and call display with no contract. I can get it unlocked after 1 month for $50 or I can keep the plan and call in for the $5 monthly service discount after a few months. I don't need data, so this worked for me. I have a feeling that the $150 for a "like new" open-box iPhone 4s was very YMMV tho. Koodo, on the other hand, listed the $150/$200 as their regular certified pre-owned price.

OP...so you were able to get the 4s for $150 on a month to month? How long would you have to wait to cancel that plan if you didn't want to unlock it? Does the sim and plan have to remain unused?

Sounds like you just got sucked into a 2-yr contract on Rogers... I would double-check that your plan is month-to-month and not on contract.

Does anyone know for sure if the Koodo iPhone will work with a Telus simcard without unlocking?

Should, my buddies iPhone 4 Locked to Telus worked with a Koodo sim card no probs. Don't see why a 4S would be any different.

yes, I can confirm Koodo iPhones work with Telus without needing to be unlocked.
