[Koodo] Certified Pre-Owned iPhone SE 16/64GB $360/410 (Tab Medium)

$360 of the total price on Tab Medium.
No gift involved, and can be combined with $50 referral.
Not a bad deal if you missed it on boxing day sale.

FYI, $50 referral ends on Feb 5th.

I don't know why people ask if this is locked. It's purchased from Koodo, it will come locked.

Apple care can be purchased within 60 days of initial activation. I guess these certified pre-owns are from 14-day return policy. So, big chance you could add apple care. Technically 90 days then it can be unlocked for $50.

Weren't the ones available during the holidays new? Not sure I'm keen to pay the same price for a used device as for a new one (if these were certified refurbs from Apple it might be a different story).

Is this on a tab? I must be missing something...

I clicked on the link and retail price (no tab) is showing $504...unless you add to cart and the price drops...

Sorry, I'll have to finish my coffee...brain not working..

If you’re looking for a ‘cheap’ iPhone, Koodo has certified pre-owned iPhone SE models available right now, with $144 in activation credits on Medium Tab contracts.

Yes, on tab medium per the OP (OP may have been updated since you posted).

It's coming from Koodo, pretty sure it'll be locked to Koodo. Unless they come in a "first sim that you insert is the one it gets locked to" state, but I can't remember if iPhones do that as well (but even if they do, you're still better off getting Koodo to unlock it once you pay off your tab because a Koodo phone locked to Rogers is going to be a pain to unlock later).

I bought a 64 gig one on boxing day...was definitely locked. I am a long time koodo customer so they unlocked it no problem for $50.

I find this deal kinda weird tbh. I got a new phone for the exact same price from Koodo back on Black Friday. I'd look over the entire phone for knicks, scratches etc.

My issue with a refurb would be more related to the number of battery cycles. If you get a cosmetically perfect phone with a crap battery, that would be a huge pain.

Of course you got a better deal on Black Friday. But the next Black Friday is a long way away. You're not going to do much better than this in the near future.

Given the number that went out, I would think these are BF and BoxDay returns under the 15day return window. So the battery concern for the most part would not be a concern. I have seen many reports people praising the looks of various 'certified pre-owned' phones from Koodo. And as stated - it could be a while before the 'new' version of this phone reaches this level.

If anyone is interested in this, the 64gb for $50 more is worth it.

Can you not pick this "refurb" and visit an Apple store and replace it with one of theiir refurb replacements?

This is definitely the cheapest and fastest way to unlock an iPhone. (Directly through the carrier for $50+ tax).

It is an activation credit so as a a Koodo customer I won't be eligible. Plus 6months only warranty on iphones.

I'm pretty sure these will be in mint condition. And I know it's an iPhone and all, but a 4" screen is almost unusable.
