[Koodo] Data only plan BYO(TP) $15/3GB month existing customers only ONLINE

Looks like they enabled the tablet plan without the $30 activation fee after you log in as a current customer just haven’t updated the wording

My question is now, how can we disable the calling and texting feature?

Just do add to cart and log in, they’ll have you agree to their crap and allow you to order your sim

https://www.koodomobile.com/bring-your-own-tablet

Make sure you call Technical Support team to disable calling and messaging before you get dinged. Apple devices send text messages in the background

*Subject to change, pay per use rates are $1.00 per minute and $1.00 per text, additional data is $7 per 100MB .

Is there anyway to get this plan, and use it on a phone for data and VOIP calls?
I am trying to switch kids phone to cheaper plan.

Thank you

You can’t switch, though you could either get the tablet plan online then cancel the phone plan or try your luck in Fido as a new customer.

Yes, but I think this wasn't available online before, only in store. Doesn't need to be a separate thread though.

It's been available online for a month or so.
You can call in to disable text message and phone call. Otherwise, I think it's $1 per SMS message.

The Fido plan works with the sim in a phone. What about Koodo's tablet plan?

Don't want to buy a cellular tablet, but have an old iPhone I can use to create a Hotspot.

Thank you for your answer.
My question wasn't about switching. But I want to get this plan, use it on a phone for VOIP and Data. Is that possible?
I heard it's possible with Fido but not sure.
