Koodo Double the minutes/Data on select data plans

Deal Link:
Expiry:

Looks like Koodo has double the minutes and data on Canada wide data plans until November 17. 3 days only. Is this decent ? Looking to upgrade to a better plan with data with them.

Area specific, not coming up for me. I did get in on this last time, just seeing if there would be a difference in my favour

Only decent if you don't want to put man hours into acquiring a $55 5GB MB/SK plan.

Im fine with my $30 plan with 200 minutes and no data. We would be paying an extra $75 a month for the 3 of us with that plan

Last year around Christmas they had $30 for 200 min and 250 mb of data which is what I have now. Maybe it will come around again this year.

With $5/250MB overage cost it's still not worth me getting these new deals since I don't use the extra minutes.

Not as good as the last round of double plan with 450min/600MB data, but still the best choice among the big guys at this moment.

Not that great, still looking for a decent plan with a large amount of data...No one needs that many minutes anymore.

Thanks OP, I'm on the $40 talk plan and I think I'll switch to the $40 data plan :) I lose unlimited incoming but gain decent data for emergency use.

To everyone that think this plan is not good, is there any comparable plan that cost the same or less? I think most other plans are a little higher, for significantly more data / minutes. For me I dont really go over 300 mins, and wife never goes over 100 minutes. Switching to other plans will cost us $20-30 more per month, which is considerable over a year.

Hi guys, need some help here, I've been doing some reading but still not too clear on the details, here's my situation and hope you guys can help me out.

I'm with Rogers right now, and my last day of contract will be up soon, and Nov 23rd is the last day of the contract, and I'm strongly consider switching out because Rogers retention couldn't give me anything close to a good deal.

I'm very interested in this $50 plan, and I just got a Nexus 5 so if I switch I will be going month to month. If I were want to switch and port my number, from my understanding, I only need to tell Koodo and they'll take care of the rest right?
Also, I want to switch it ASAP if possible, so should I do it on Nov 23rd? Or Nov 24th and after?
Is there any catch I need to watch out for?

Thanks a bunch!

The $45 plan w/10% ($50) off if you bring your own phone plan is quite tempting. 1 Gig of data.
I have the plan from earlier this summer for $39. 600Mb, 450 anytime, unlimited evening starting at 6pm.

I managed to get double data (400mb) but minutes stayed at 200. At least it was something!
