Galaxy S4 Recertified instore $210 outright

Can we buy it outright without being a koodo customer or choosing a plan?

What I found is that it depend on which koodo store you go.. sometime they allow it and sometime they don't !! it depend of the CSR

Just tried to buy one. Will not sell it to me unless I am on a Koodo plan and said I cannot pay it out until 90 days pass.
Maybe I will try another store.

100% agree. All stores are allowed to sell the phones outright but depends on the person you talk to. I know from personal experience.

+ S3 are 90$ if u can find one.
Note 2 are 180$.

Now I wonder if I should keep the S4 or the Note 3 LOL

So do most kiosks have these recertified phones? Interested in a note 2.

The system will physically let it happen but reps aren't allowed to do it. If you find a rep that will, great for you but they aren't supposed to.

What koodo locations would the S4 be sold at ? Is it common among stores to have stock of these?

nope!! call before going there.. they dont have way to follow inventory and they don't have them everytime
The koodo store I usually do business with never had any recertified device before and they did this time

Just confirmed that they have 2 s4s left at the koodo kiosk at toronto eaton centre. Rep said it was $216 though... Just in case anyone was interested.

Where do we have Note 3?

I bought 1 for my cousin last yr (smoking hot deal for $250, about 1 yr ago when S4 was selling for much more than now). Comes in a Koodo refurb box, has charger, was in mint condition with 1 yr warranty I believe. They also had official Samsung case for 50% off at the time. This is still a good price with the benefit of not worrying about blacklist & warranty. Had to sign on a month to month plan, or to buy outright with no plan required extra $50 I was told

Don't make that mistake. The user experience on the Note 3 is far better. I got curious and picked up an S4 to compare. While the specs are not too different, the slightly faster processor, extra gig of ram, and bigger battery make the Note 3 a much better choice at a slightly higher cost.

Lollipop and a full wipe/reset on your Note 3 should leave it running pretty smoothly. I'd try that first before getting the S4.
