[Koodo] iPhone SE certified pre-owned $168

Koodo has a great deal on certified pre-owned iPhone SE. You could get a better deal on new activations with gift cards but this is a better option for current customers without any hassle. $7 tab charge for 24 months = $168+tax.

Really wanted to grab this on tab small but it's forcing me to change my old plan no longer offered. Anybody know a way to get around it?

Tab small basically applies for every plan. Are you on out of province plan? When it asks you to select a plan, your current plan should appear on the top.

Thats the problem, Tab small plans starts at $30/month. What you can do is open a new line (may change tab pricing so be careful) and cancel the line after you receive the phone.

Great small phone and quicker with iOS12. Picked one up 2 weeks ago with PC points on new activation. Will be using it with Apple watch 4 that is coming.

Thanks for pointing out the deal. Very tempting price $168. Maybe 6s will fall in price also?
I've read here on RFD, some people say "certified pre-owned" phones are just like new.

Black Friday is not too far from now.

I'm a Koodo customer but my relative is not who I am trying to get an unlocked iphone for. Is there a way I can get this phone deal for them without a plan? When I select my "current plan" on the add a plan page, am I signing up for another monthly plan? I assume so and maybe this deal isn't for my situation.

I was a new customer and paid off my Essential Phone tab the first month I got the phone.

I'm on a $20 plan unlimited calling only. Seems to let me add the phone with a $7/month tab charge.

Pretty good deal

Did you call in to do this? Cause the online doesn’t let you pay off the Tab in the first 90 days.

Don't most people just port out, forcing account cancellation, which puts the tab on your final invoice?

They were offering $350 in gift cards a few weeks ago for a brand new SE phone on small tab. If you can wait until Black Friday, there will likely be some deals.

If you call in and cancel or if you port out, you will get a final bill and can pay the tab. However, you risk being blacklisted from future phone purchases if you do this in the first 90 days
