$215 cheaper than buying from Apple (minus SIM card, prorated service, blah blah), so yes it's a deal.

Have you seen the iPhone X available anywhere for less? Or even discounted at all for that matter?

Nope, but not becauses it's discounted that it's a good discount.

If you absolutly need an X now, sure it's good

Otherwise it's a warm deal and wait, it will probably be cheaper another time

I would suggest getting the iPhone 8 plus over the iPhone X though, if you're going to go through the hassle of the koodo method anyway. Also $230 cheaper.

It's 200$ cheaper as of yesterday with Rogers as well. I suspect all carriers have lowered their price the same $200.00 amount. Was $599, now $399 on an expensive plan.

It's a great deal for iphone X! If you have no interest in the iPhone X, please don't leave a comment, that market is not for you.

For those wondering, if you just want the phone, the total cost in Ontario is about $1268 for 64GB and $1494 for 128GB assuming you cancel on the first day. Referrals won't work because you need to stay for 3 months I think it is.

EVERYTHING will be cheaper another time.

People post how to get $100 off a $1500 TV, yet this isn't good enough?

Not an iPhone fan but I'm sure someone will benefit off this.

Good looking out, OP.

I wouldn't consider 100 off a 1500 TV a 'hot deal'.

And this phone is just way too overpriced to begin with - unless you are an Apple fan.
I got Fido and Public Mobile. [removed solicitation] ????

Can you please help to direct to the kind of 8+ deal going on? Thinking of getting 8+ for wife's up coming birthday in a week but no luck with Fido.

TIA

So you are telling me, that you pay more than I do, and you have to sign up and then cancel, in the end, I get:

iphone 8 plus and two years of service

and you get:

iphone X?
Glancealot's Rogers Plan wrote:$45.5/month (that is, after my 30% corporate discount) for 2 years, $25 connection fee, $29 upfront for iphone 8 plus, but with $50 bill credit (i.e., really only $4 upfront for the hardware upgrade)

1GB data
Call Display with Name Display
Enhanced Voicemail
Unlimited Canada-wide Calling and text
why is this a hot deal again?

I don't use iPhones myself, but $200 off a $1300 phone (no tricks, no trade-in, no targetted) is nothing to snease at for a phone that's been in-market for half a year, right after Q2 has ended. Combo that with a $50+ pre-tax trade discount at Wow, and that's even more impressive. I don't see such a discount going on for Galaxy Note 8 yet.

Edit: this is a limited edition phone and we may see it a little cheaper on Koodo in September, but not by a whole lot. Once they drop it to even $100-200 upfront on tab large, the phone will liquidate in a heartbeat. Also consider that Koodo is about to increase upfront fee to $30 on all phone activations in store.

I won't jump on this deal, but I can see die-hard iPhone/Apple fans jumping on this.

I guess besides the upgraded hardware and what not, the original iPhone and the iPhone X are the same phone too.

15% (ish) off, for the latest iPhone, isn't too bad. Personally not interested in the iPhone X myself (waiting for the X2 at least, for them to work out the kinks), but for those looking to get it, not a bad deal at all.
