I see that on my EPP deal for me as well. Paying an extra $5 for potential 5g speed Thinking Face.
Would be nice on my iPhone.

I have the $60 for 20gb offer but no way I'm leaving my $40 plan with 13 GB Smiling Face With Horns With the exception of streaming videos, I use data all time and don't think I even use half of my monthly allowance

Added screenshot on the original post.
I just applied the 20GB plan as well but did not get to keep my 5GB addon, so YMMV.

I am on the 5 gb for $35 and see the offers. I did notice there are some plans clearly stating 4G LTE and others not. The 4G LTE ones are cheaper. Maybe the others will be 5G.

I didn’t see this thread earlier but I was able secure the bag and got an additional 4gb for free today. Called and said I was considering the Rogers EPP (was actually considering it).

Currently have 11gb for $35.

4 lines with koodo.
No offer on any of them.
I max out my data most months so may be why.
For reference my plans are
$36 - 6gig (chinese new year plan - $10 a month for 24 months)
$45 - 6 gig (chinese new year plan)
$51 - 23 gig (8g for $40 + free 5gig and $20/10g addons - $10 a month for 24 months)
$40 - 9gig (4gig for $40 + ftee 5gig)

They messed up and applied discount to wrong line.

Im tempted to port out the $45 line to freedom to see if winback calls. Does anyone know if they let you add multiple lines if you get the offer given to you?

Was there any warning you were going to lose it? I want to try, but scarred I will lose my 5gb add on

Dumb question. Haven't been with Koodo that long. How did you get the add on GB's?

You get an offer from Koodo. It’s targeted.

Its targeted or you get a hold of retention and ask if they can match whatever active deal there is.

I was only offered 16g for $55 and 20g for $60; no offer for 30g. Weird how it is so different from person to person

For people that are even bothering to mention its only 4G...my internet was down for an entire day and used my phone as a router for my desktop. I went through a day of work and zoom meetings without any issues.

5G is useless to most people; it'll be convenient in the way of downloading faster files from Netflix but far from being a necessity.

Real 5G isn't even here yet, lol. People getting fooled by Wireless Carriers marketing spins who are basically putting quasi-5G equipment on top of their existing LTE Network Core with a slight boost to data speeds.

The Canadian Govt just auctioned the 3500Mhz (5G) spectrum last month and hasn't even announced who bought which block of the spectrum; let alone Carriers rolling 5G out - which won't happen atleast until mid-2022.

I'm on $60 for 12GB now and for me this 20GB offer says it's available after getting a phone on tab.
