Hopefully u don't have to hang up and get call back multiple times. Truthfully I've called in even by my standards alot for various different reasons. I've only had 1 bad Rep. All others are genuinely helpful right off the bat on first tries. For me 60 bucks 10gb is good considering what's out there that I could get currently. Anything they could do was just a cherry on top.

I'm really hoping for everybodys sake that I wasn't part of the whole "oh that customer got it in error. He wasn't allowed to have that and the Rep made a mistake. I can't do that for you sorry" excuse.

Thanks! I might just pay my tab off in any case to take advantage of another 2GB + $5/month cheaper, that's $60/year (my tab is only ~$9/month for 24 months).

EDIT: seems like it's tab eligible, even if they can't do an extra 2GB I'll gladly accept $5/month off my bill.

Bad product/service

How the hell is the info I provided a bad product or service? Lmao I was not providing a service or a product. Ah well. If I can help one person then I've accomplished what I wanted by posting the thread.
Because not everyone can get this plan. And it's not available on Koodo website - you have to call Koodo and talk to Loyalty/Retentions Dept., which MAYBE a 50/50% chance (% might be higher or lower, depending on what Account you have) you MAY get this plan.

I'm on 2x the $48 / 5GB plans - will have to give them a call and see if I can move at least one of them to 10GB / $55.

Can you please provide a screenshot of this plan + add-on? Thanks.

How were you able to get the data add-on ? Did you call and ask for get the data add-on or did you get a text message about the promo?

Thanks.

I've been with koodo since 2012 and was only offered the 2GB for 24 months. They said the $55/10gb was for upgrade only and the 2gb add on permanent code was expired. Anyone getting more resistance?

It's not listed online. I called customer service last week for my wife. Asked if she qualified for BYOD 56 plan. Switch plans no problem. (previously $65 10GB)
