[Koodo] Koodo bonus GB plan (3gb for 35$), 24 months

Just called in for a billing mistake (duh) and asked politely to CSR if there's anything better. Normal CSR, not retention offered 2gb extra promotion if i downgrade the plan on self serve from the 2gb/35$ retention plan i had to 1gb/35$ + 2gb extra for 24 months.

Although im not a big fan of promotion pricing that expires, 24 months seemed a reasonable timeframe and i have relative confidence that more data will be the norm in that time frame.

I am in Quebec so no idea if this is province-wide offer but worth a shot for some.

If you need more data, they have a better loyalty add-on. It's $20 for 2GB.
It's good until cancelled. Not openly promoted, but you can request it.

At the moment I have 2GB 35$ (- 10$ for SPC discount Smiling Face With Open Mouth And Tightly-closed Eyes). I am in QC

If I get this with SPC it would be awesome!!

Edit: OP, do you have the SPC discount?

Just to be clear, this is not advertised deal and nowhere on your self portal. You need to request it. I can confirm it is available in Quebec and i've only been a client since January (S7 medium tab deal).

I must be lucky, because I have better than that. I have 2 extra GB, for 24 months, for only 5$/month (picture below)
I also got it by dealing with them on the phone, since it is not advertised. I think it is/was QC only.

Ehh I guess that is not far from the 56$ 8GB plan that is advertised in QC

There are also $1 1GB and $0 1GB add-ons (so net $1 2GB), not sure if they are still being offered

You are right. This is something probably only appreciated by RFD because in the end I pay 54$ instead of the regular plan of 56$... but hey, 2$ gain by talking with koodo customer service for 2 hours is worth it I guess.... right ??

I have the $35 2GB plan as well. The clueless CSR was useless. I pushed her to verify with a co-worker and got the same answer. She named the regular plans on the website (oh really sherlock?). She said last time they had it was last november. I hate incompetent people.

I have a custom built 2GB plan with Koodo for $31. **Don't ask me if this can be referred, it cannot. I got lucky the rep was being so nice and creative that day to get me this deal. I usually only use a bit over 1GB per month so this plan works out great for me.

Just got the second GB for $0 for 24 months. Previously had 1GB for $1, no expiry.
Ask politely and they can do wonders.
