[Koodo] Koodo LG G7 ThinQ cpo (very) small tab $120

Koodo has the LG G7 thinQ certified pre-owned for (very) small tab for $5/month for 24 month. Koodo retail price 390, phone credit 270. If you cancel your plan or need to buy out the phone before the 24 months period, you wil have to pay the proprated part of $270

not bad for a 2 yr old phone, probably refurbished and limited quantity

I used to think lg cameras were good but after using apple and samsung I find them to really suck. the only advantage back then was the wide angle lens but the regular camera is pretty garbage.

LG doesn't have a good track record with updates but the G7 is supposed to get Android 10 later this year

I believe so. My old G6's battery performance was horrible after a year. But my current G7 is still going strong after a year and a half.

How much longer will this get updates for? Another year? So it's like $10 per month of [supported] ownership?

I have been using G7 for last year and half. Battery life is still good. Not a heavy user.

I have couple of issues with the phone so far.

Charing port is loose. So, I have to keep it steady while charging or it won't charge.

Fingerprint scanner has intermittent issue.

But over all happy with the phone.

Why not get a wireless charger? I never use my phone's USB port.

I have an LG G7 One which was phenomenal. Huge screen, super bright, excellent audio. Great battery life...
Bad camera.

Upgraded to a Pixel 3 pretty because of the camera. I prefer the G7 One in almost every other way, but the camera was killing me. Had to upgrade.

Not sure if the comparison between the 'One' and the ThinQ. But if it has the same camera let this be a warning if you care about camera quality

It's still manageable. But I might buy wireless charger if it's necessary.

The approach should be leave the USB port alone, you never know when you'll / might really need it. Don't wait till it's broken.

(Always leave yourself with two options, not one. ['one' is not an option]).

The manual mode of the G7 ThinQ native camera app is about the best you'll find in a smartphone, and with care very good results can be had. The limiting factor is the 1.0µm pixel size of the Sony sensor. The wide-angle camera is a big plus.

For point-and-shoot this is the GCam version you want for the G7, on Pie:

My wife has had this for two years with no complaints. Her tab is up now, but she's still happy with the G7.

Be careful with CPO, bought a CPO LG G7 One last Summer and it starts to boot loop last Christmas. No warranty from Koodo or LG, they are kicking me back and forth, finally sold it last month for $60 as parts. Anyway no problem with a LG G7 Thinq that I bought new for my daughter or the LG G6 (used) that I bought to replace the G7 One.

Great deal. I got it in November when it was $7/month and I am very happy with it.
Interesting fact, the Phone Credit when I got it was $182. Add $168 for the tab for 24 months and it comes to $350
Now the phone credit is $270, with the $120 for the tab for 24 months it comes to $390
Different USD-CAD exchange rate ?

LG = No thanks

LG G5 = finger print sensor not working
GPS not working
LG G PAD III - boot loop issue

All happened 1month after warranty expired.
