This is stupid. If I look on the rate plans without logging in, then the BYOD promo plans show up for me, but once I log in, they no longer appear. In my "change my plans" under self service, all the plans are really bad. I tried to do a live chat with the robot, doesn't really do anything, and when I tried to request a call back, it said the office was closed and to try again tomorrow, but then I said I wanted to cancel, and it immediately offered to schedule a call back.

I'm currently on the 5gb $48 MB plan, and even though I'm not using as much data now, it's always nice to have extra data for later.

may be wait a couple days for a "win back" call or text ?

Or get onto Freedom plan, then contact Koodo for the $40 / 9GB package for first line. Second line $35/ also 9GB.

I was able to switch when this was first introduced, looks like they won't do it anymore.
You got a good deal though, I would have done the same as you.

All 4 of my line are $40/8GB, so I haven't even try, feeling it would be waste of time.

Bright side of RFD: 4 X Koodo $40/8GB plan
Dark side of RFD: Tons of stuff that I don't need but still got them because of RFD

I ported two lines from Koodo to Fido two weeks ago because they wouldn't waive the $10 fee to change plans.

No winback call or text on either line.

Why did they charge you $10? They instituted a policy to charge $10 for any changes a customer can do online themselves. But if only a rep can do it then it's free

Some reps will try to get you to accept the $10 charge, probably incentives for them

Fido offers me 15Gb for 60$ online as a promo in my account. And 20Gb for 75$. is it such a good deal ? 45$ for 11 Gb sounds better for me.
