Got a winback email and was offered the following after calling...
Koodo offer: $35 for 12gigs

Telus offer: all 30gigs
Port 1 line = $50
Port 2 lines = $42.50 each
Port 3 lines = $40 each
Port more 3 lines = $35

Will most likely port to telus on monday.
Is the Koodo offer 4g only or 4g and LTE speeds?
On Koodo $40/6gb plan.

Don't have this offer. Still on the $40/8gb + $0 5gb add on but I think they locked me to 3g speed recently.

Next offer I got was 10gb for $45 at 4g lte... but I lose my add on free 5gb data

Same here I'm finding Koodo data really slow these days as well.

Would be nice to taste 5G just to see what it's like but not worth the premium for me since mostly on WiFi at home.

I believe they are throttling grandfather accounts to move us into higher tiers.

As recently as Sept 14, I got 329 down and 53.5 up on my $40 PM Migration Plan. But speeds do vary widely from location to location. Typically speeds are home are about 1/3 of that at my office.

This plan is marketed as 4G only 100mbps - still on the LTE network but throttled.

So this is my current plan $60 for 10gb of shock free data and my phone shows a 4g lte speed. Posted a pic with what I get and what my add ons are

The only offer I have is under the Tab plus where I would get 30gb for the same price at 4g speed.

Hopefully I posted the pics correctly and you can see what I have vs what is being offered to me.

Is the new offer better? I would rather have a higher speed than more data but don’t know much about what plan is better.

Keep snswers as simple as possible, please.

Depends if your "shock free data" you have is LTE branded speeds. I am guessing so that's why you got the offer to move to 4G

Doesn't matter that your phone says LTE. 4G is throttled 100mbps data. Maybe do a speed test.

They basically are offering you 30GB (or 20 extra) if you go to 4G speeds

My speed test above shows 480mbps on the “4G” plan.

Glad to hear did you recently switch?

Double check the Koodo terms you would have agreed to when switching plans.

"Plans with 3G speed may reach download speeds of up to 3 Mbps, and plans with 4G speed may reach download speeds up to 100 Mbps,"

Some plans can take 48 hours to switch data speeds. Not sure hope it keeps up but they are offering these plans to get people to move to 4G speed ie throttled 100mbps service.

Theses are the speed tests I got from 2 different sites. I certainly don’t want to switch if I am going to be at a slower speed. I need my Google maps when I travel as I’m geographically challenged.

Great speed but How much data does your google maps need? I travelled the USA it used 20mb a day (non satellite etc). And that was before offline maps

I reached out via twitter. They are sometimes slow to respond so maybe a call is a good idea...

Only thing holding me back from PM is I appreciate the intl roaming with Koodo. Big pain in the butt with 2FA these days and the texts you get are free even when roaming int'l.
Did you ever hear back from them on twitter? Still waiting myself.

I have not heard back...:/

Used Amazon Prime to buy a PM SIM...Wasn't committed to the plan but looks like it'll be here by tomorrow, so if the promo is still on, I might just jump shimp and cross my fingers for a wicked winback offer

Doubt Telus/Koodo will actively try to win back single users from sister/daughter company PM
