Hello RFDer,
here is another deal from Koodo.
I am koodo customer and i am on 60/m plan with unlt calling and 10gb data with bring your own device plan which was offered around last November.

Man, this $60/10GB is not that attractive in comparison to the $45/8GB. Yes, you get 2 extra GB, but at $15?
This plan should drop to $50 or $55 lol. Just to piss off the people who had to line up for hours.

Okay, I just called Koodo and they offered me the following:

- 3 Lines, 4GB of Data available for each line (Total of 12GB)
- Unlimited Nation Wide Calling, Unlimited Texting
- Caller Display, Voicemail, Call Waiting etc
- No activation Fees
- $55/Mth Each Line or $186.45/Mth All Taxes Included for all 3 lines

Any feedback on this? I'm currently paying $198/mth taxes included with Rogers for 9GB share everything plan.

The one notable change of this plan vs the frenzy from last Christmas for the same data allotment, is that this specifically mentions the medium tab. I don't think the previous plans included any tab.

And yes, 8GB for $45 seems to be a better value.

I just realized that the offer they gave me is a simple promo they have available on their website - so doesn't seem too special but it's a promo nonetheless.

I don't think that is very good. PM has $50 /month plan and you get 6.5GB with unlimited Cda and USA calling. No activation with promos at Walmart currently

But isn't PM a vastly inferior network? Do they offer LTE?

I switched to PM from Fido a month ago and haven't noticed any difference. The "3G speeds" they offer is actually an LTE connection with speeds capped at 3 Mbps.

It's all on Telus' network so coverage is fantastic.

I am a current Public Mobile customer and Koodo customer.

I'm assuming to get this deal we would need to visit a local Walmart? Also, can they port my number over? Still wary of using 3G speeds as I rely on my cell phone for business purposes.

Exact same network (same company). PM's "3g" plans are just LTE capped at 3mpbs. Most people don't notice a difference unless they're streaming 1080p Or downloading large files.
