[Koodo] Pixel 2XL Koodo buyout deal is back

The deal on the koodo Pixel 2 Xl is back.
Not as good as the one over christmas/new years which was $450 off
The regular Pixel 2 is only $100 off, so for some reason costs the same as the Pixel 2 xl.

but $350 off still better than buying it straight up from google.

wowmobile has this listed at $200 (instead of $300) on the Large.

Lately, Koodo is giving out $150 or $200 positive tab. This is why, when you log in to your account and you will see phone price are $200 less then original advertise prices.
If you want positive tab, call in retention department and ask them for device upgrade. If you owe them tab balance you will not get positive tab.

I wonder how many who got the tab was just recently moved to the $60/10GB BYOD and they just wanted to move them back off, lol.

So if I understand this right if I went to Wow I could get a pixel 2 xl for $200 plus paying off my tab. So $704?

Yes plus the prorated charges and tax. also you can trade in old phone to get another 50$ off. You can find used broken phone in kijiji for 20$

Help me out here. Currently I have a tab balance of $285 plus I have a custom plan with 7GB of data for $70 (I fought hard for this).

If I want to upgrade to a Pixel 2X, can I just pay my tab off, keep my plan, and get this phone for $350 off?

The sticking point here is that I have no interest in changing my plan.

Tab large is $74. If you want to keep $70 plan, I think you have to go with tab medium. Best thing is go to wow mobile and open new line.

Good Luck trying to find a WOW that will do this for you, since you cancelling the line means no commission for them.

Why would they not do it for you? You don't suppose RFDers will go tell them they are planning to activate then cancel...

No need to tell; they'll know when you go to cancel within a month of activating lol

Not trying to sound condescending, but by the time they realize, its already a done-deal.

But they'll have an idea you intend to do so, and will either say the phones are out of stock or only being saved for active Koodo customers.

Very tempted. But the fact that you need to get a specific phone plan to get the deal kills it. I have a good plan with Koodo atm, and I would rather not switch to a more expensive plan just to get this phone.
