Koodo is better because sometimes there are some crazy phone deals to be had!
These migration plans are often BYOD only. On $20 3GB unlimited mins, but no tab whatsoever.

I'm in Ontario and have been on koodo 3 years paying $45/2gb/unlimited minutes

Will calling to cancel and pressuring retentions yield good results? What price should I be shooting for? I need koodo's coverage area :(

They bumped the price of secondary accounts that share data up to $75 (currently only paying $55) and it shares data from the main account.

Am I better off forgoing the 30% discount and just switching to something like PM with 2 separate accounts?

Right now we're looking at ~$170 for the two phones to share 6GB of data. (15% tax included)
With PM, you'd get 10GB for $76 +tax for 2 lines with LTE lite.

They won't be targeting the $120 12GB plan, since they state right in the promo that the speed is 10x faster, so they are only going for the 3G plans.

Nope, I think they are targeting $40 plan holders, I have a hatching plan of 40 and another of 50, got the offer on 40 only

That’s correct. I jumped on it back in August and then a week after it expired. They offered $35 / 8 Gigs

So I got the offer texted to me cuz one of my numbers is on PM.
I was wondering does anyone know if there is a way to use that code with another line that I have will Bell to port that to Koodo instead?

Probably not after you go and talk about it openly.

The validation code is still your Public Mobile phone number. So word of warning, because giving your PM phone number to someone for a referral could end up with them signing up with Koodo by using it online. If you do the whole process online, Koodo won't force you to port in your number.

Early days but it looks like they added SMS auth to the mix....

If that doesn’t work, you could also try getting the advertised $50/4GB (500 CW minutes though) and ask if they could give you 10% off. Never hurts to try ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
TELUS $45/25GB x2
Rogers Ignite 500 $43/mo
Fido $5/4GB (50% off $10 for 24 months)

Is LTE lite = 3G? Reading the fine print 3mbps seems awfully slow.

If not I don't see any plan on their site that offers what you are talking about. I do see the 4.5gb (+bonus 500mb) for 3G at $40, with 2 phones and auto pay $76.
