large tab
actually it's interesting, you get better deal on the large tab !
That pretty nice, it's only 3$ more than the MB/SASK deal for 1 more GB !!!

AFAIK as an Ottawa expat currently living in Aylmer, you'll need a QC address and they will insist on you switching to a QC number.

I guess you're talking about if you try to go through Koodo directly. If you do it through the self service portal (google "koodo mb plan howardforums"), I assume you'll be able to do the same thing with a QC plan.

Switching address is not an issue but switching numbers is a deal breaker. =(

No need to switch numbers. If you're a current Koodo customer, port your number out to pre-paid, perform the trick to get the QC plan, then port your number back in (voila!). If you're not a current Koodo customer, you just perform the trick to get the QC plan and port your number in. I'm planning on switching over once I've got the cash to pay off my current device balance with Rogers. If this QC plan sticks around, I may go with that one instead of the MB one.

You transfer your number from your existing provider to your Koodo account.

Is it possible to port numbers to switch one account to another? i.e. my son wants my plan, and I want his plan, and all we need is to switch numbers

Anybody in Ontario can get out of province Koodo plans, with a local number. As I said above, if you just google "koodo mb plan howardforums", you'll see how to get the MB plan (and presumably you can use the same trick to get one of these QC plans too, provided they show up on the self service portal)

I have a QC phone plan (same 6gb one at 60$ though)

How can I change to the 54$ one? I can see it listed on their plans, I select it and click the option "change my plan" and the 54$ option does not appear

Does your phone number start with QC area code?

its a QC plan, QC address and everything (from Gatineau)

I can see the plan on their plan page and it just doesnt allow me to change. Maybe calling in will have to do.

That's 'province wide' calling only though for $38. Canada wide is $43 p/month or $1 more than the Koodo plan. But you don't have to live in Quebec to get it.
