No offence but In this case benchmarks don't do shit, anyone can go read up comments and watch YouTube vid. iOS 11 has been a **** up. Though iOS 11.1 just came out which probably fixes most issue.

I'm not iPhone user and obviously don't have any usage experience but these tests done in your posted article only refer to pure hw test and not the impact of OS overlayed on top that can get bogged down or crippled which impacts user experience.

Tempted to replace my LG g6 with the s6 edge+. The camera on the g6 sucks that it's almost unusable.

Futuremark is just an app to Android or iOS. Itis no different from other apps.

what's wrong with G6's camera? I thought it is similar to G4/G5 which is very usable by any mobile phone standard.

for the benchmark, it is saying basically that the phone will run the xyz decoding at abc rate.
lets say iPhone 6S runs at 60 marks,

what it does not tell you is that the IOS 10 requires 40 marks to run smoothly, and IOS 11 requires 80 to run smoothly.

I just made up these numbers to give an example.

what I do: only update 1 level OS upgrade. i.e. iPhone 6s, I will stay on ios 10...,

Depends on when the phone was initially activated. I got a refreshed SE last week with Apple warranty until May 21, 2018.

What's the difference between "refreshed" (ip6s) and "certified pre owned" (S6edge)?
