This has SD845 which is the same as the Pixel 3 or 3XL. My experience with LG has been good.

You would still need to pay 50% of the phone credit after 1 year.

From my understanding despite them being all over the place, you will have to pay off tab + phone credit before you can get another phone. Both decrease by a set amount each month, for tab you pay into it and for phone credit, it is reduced by month until fully removed after 24 months.

You are basically paying for the retail cost of this phone of $350 in a way, except the $182 phone credit is hidden/removed by your commitment to Koodo for 2 years. So the only deal here is if you expect to be on your plan for 2 years.

Ah I see. But the cheapest this is going for on eBay etc is 200-250 so this may still be appealing to some people, like you said.

No. When you upgrade, just pay the tab you already on and that is it. It is possible that my phone credit haven't apply though.

No! Unless you cancel you account you can just pay up the tab and upgrade. I did this once already. Did you hear this from someone who actually got charged?RFDQ1016 wrote: ↑Nov 6th, 2019 10:40 amYou would still need to pay 50% of the phone credit after 1 year.
This is a fake sale.
You're basically stuck for 2 years with this refurb LG. Not worth it.
If you are really itching to commit for 2 years, wait for BF, there will be better deals on better phones.

It's what koodo says. They don't actually do "upgrades". You are just cancelling the old contract and signing a new 2 yr

Was your prior upgrade before the LG done before august 15(or whenever the new rule took place) or after. If it was before then you were still under the old rule.

Couple of months ago. It is possible that they didn't apply this phone credit on my previous phone which I got last year.
