Switch the phone to 3G in settings and then do a network search with an active sim(might work on unactive) and if it lists Wind then you are good.

It finds Videotron which uses the same frequencies as Wind.

Thank you. So videotron uses only the same frequency as wind? And your x play was originally from telus /koodo?

Snow Road Station, O…
I can confirm it works. I am having a Koodo moto X play. I unlocked it using a code from Ebay. I tired my wind sim card on it, and it works perfect.

However, I have to say, I prefer Koodo 40$ =500min+1G than Wind "unlimited" for 39$. The wind coverage sucks, and I paid a lot roaming fee. The quality of Wind network also sucks.
